  1. I honestly don't think there is a massive difference in terms of reliability. There is a big difference in terms of driving experience though. Go and drive both and I doubt you will be that interested in the 2.4 any more. The extra low down torque in the 2.0t makes for a completely difference drive.
  2. Yes it would either be a case of add in a mid section or change the complete exhaust. Have you looked on ebay for a standard exhaust to use?
  3. Lovely car/colour combo Richard... best of luck with the sale
  4. Is the car manual or auto?
  5. Glad you had a good experience. Let me know how you get on when they arrive!
  6. Thanks for the heads up Sean. Assuming you didn't pay by PayPal? How much did they fleece you for?
  7. Are you sure the left hand drive ones won't fit? The only problem with aftermarket pedals is that you tend to have to screw into your existing ones
  8. I think I once read about someone with a similar issue and it was the injection pump
  9. The only thing I'd say is watch out for the quality of aftermarket lights. Do you currently have LED lights? Have you thought about tinting your current ones or upgrading to LED if you don't have them already?
  10. Pretty sure it's 2.0T
  11. Hi Jules, Did you have V8 badges on the wings? The S line ones go pretty much in the same position I think? If it were me then yes I'd probably get an additional badge for the back as A5 on its own may look a little odd in my opinion.
  12. You're right they're not the cheapest but they've pretty much cornered the market for them I think and they're a good quality product. Been around for years.
  13. I haven't but from past experience the seat will never feel or look as nice as the original Audi seats. Out of interest, what's the reason for considering it?
  14. Definitely quite an upgrade as that would have been a mk1 Focus so getting on a bit now!
  15. Does seem odd. Maybe worth keeping an eye on it then. If you're still convinced there is a problem you'll have to keep bugging them until they lesson unfortunately.
  16. Quite pricey but as you said you get what you pay for sometimes! At least it all works now!
  17. Hi Kirsty, sorry to hear about the issues with your TT - you're right you shouldn't get that with a 6 month old car. Could be anything really, even something as simple as a incorrectly fitted cabin filter, though not sure where it is located on your car.
  18. Hi Julie sorry to hear you've been having problems with your Audi. The warm start issue could be the flywheel as I've seen someone else with that problem. Not sure on the cutting out though...
  19. Hi Colin, what sort of age/mileage/budget/spec are you looking at as there are quite a few options!? Definitely avoid the multitronic auto box if you can!
  20. Let us know if it turns out to be the dump valve. Could be useful for other members to know if they were thinking of doing it!
  21. Do you know that the battery is flat? If so I'd think unfortunately you're going to have to jump start it and test the battery. If it's a 2008 it could still be on the original battery. Just one of those things I'm afraid.
  22. Dump valves often don't work that well if the car isn't designed to have an atmospheric valve fitted... could be that causing it?
  23. Good to know - you're not the first person I've heard of with a cable from Amazon/eBay that doesn't work! How much did it cost from Audi in the end?
  24. Hi Rob welcome Glad to see you made the move to Audi - what did you come from?
  25. You will either need to buy a VAGCOM set up see http://store.ross-tech.com/shop/cat/VCDS.html and https://www.ilexa.co.uk/shop/VCDS-HEXUSBCAN or find someone with one Either that or locate a specialist that can do it for you.
