The white smoke would usually indicate water in the system not oil as that would be black.
Oil pressure could be caused by too much oil. If you think there is too much oil in drain it and refill - that's a good place to start as nice and straight forward.
Hi Chris welcome
Looks like a nice example - 2.0 tfsi is a good engine. Not sure on the engine code - can I ask why you're specifically looking for that one?
The mileage is a little high yes but it's quite common to find a good Audi with high mileage. I wouldn't write it off just yet but be sure to check it has really good history etc
An SE should float your boat:

S Lines are available in your budget but likely to be very high mileage. Can always get the 140bhp remapped too.
I'm guessing the part will be about £150 - £250 plus labour.
If you've only just bought it, guessing you have some sort of warranty? Where did you get it from?
Hi Steve, looking forward to hearing the outcome - hope things improve, 37.8 does sound pretty low for a 2.0 tdi to be honest - I would be hoping for at the very lead mid to high 40's.
If you want to stick with halogen then something like osram nightbreaker plus are quite good. You could do a xenon upgrade kit but a bit of a grey area legally so depends if you want to go down that route.
Hi George welcome
The garage are right in saying start stop will only work under certain conditions.
It can depend on things like outside temperature, cabin temperature, battery charge level etc etc
Meguiarrs do a headlight restoration kit:

I've used this before on other cars and it works a treat with a bit of work
Hi Byron,
I think generally all modern diesels are not fantastic when it comes to reliability IF you don't do the mileage.
The sort of mileage you are doing sounds OK though - what's that going to translate into per year? Make sure you avoid the multitronic auto box whatever you go for...
