A 2006 convertible could be either the B6 or the B7 as it's right on the crossover. As you mention the "facelift" grill I'd suspect it's the B7 buy you can post a photo if you like and I'll take a look?

A3 wheels 225/40/18 do they fit a A4 2005 running on 235/40/18.

Hard to say - as with anything some suffer with problems and others don't. Anything from 70k to 150k I would say depending on how lucky you get and how well you take care of the car.

Hi Kev welcome See my reply in your other thread RE your parking sensors -
I'd imagine a sensor is not working. IIRC get someone else to put the car in reverse and put your ear against each sensor. They should make a faint clicking noise if working correctly and the faulty one will not. Swap out the faulty one and you should be fine

I assume your sat nav is disc based? You usually get the latest software on the map disc IIRC and I'm pretty sure 0460 is not the latest version. -
Hmmm looks like that only goes back to 2001 unfortunately. Can't think there will be all that many of them now especially in good condition!

Wow, looks like you had a lucky escape! I'm surprised Audi haven't done anything about this yet. I wonder how many it will take? Didn't Vauxhall have something similar recently with the Zafira and it was something to do with the dashboard or behind it?
