  1. Nice work - sounds like a bit of a bargain compared to what it could have cost you at an Audi dealership!
  2. Does the linking error have a code?
  3. My local scrapyard had a diy "pick a part" section - I imagine that's the sort of place you would want to look as they're bound to have a few Audi models from around that period?
  4. I think the extra boxes are the igniters?
  5. Hi Steven welcome the the club :) That's a lot of miles so I would say there are bound to be some issues that will need sorting. To be honest it's hard to price a car with that sort of mileage I would say it seems OK if a little on the high side. Depends on condition/service history really...
  6. It won't be worth a lot unfortunately but it will still be worth something to someone. Nice to see that sort of mileage achieved. Was that all your mileage and did you have many issues during its lifetime? You could try free sites like gumtree etc and why not list it in the for sale section on this site? I imagine you want to stay away from paid sites due to the value of the car?
  7. Hi and welcome to the site :) Just wondering... what do HIDs have to do with a spare wiper motor or am I missing something? Glad you managed to get your HIDs working properly though - normally you just need a canbus set to stop errors being thrown up
  8. There's definitely a few low mileage cars around but I guess it will depend on your budget
  9. No worries :) Found any potentials yet?
  10. Fair enough! Best of luck with the sale and hopefully see you back in an Audi one day ;)
  11. Sorry to hear this I feel your pain :( Out of interest was the car remapped or was it just towing that killed the clutch?
  12. Glad to hear it! Sounds like you've been properly converted then
  13. http://www.audiretrofit.com/www.audiretrofit.coms/info.php?p=9 These guys have a couple of options for the A3 including the OEM nav
  14. Depends on the model/spec you order and if it what options you chose etc To be honest, you will need to speak to your Audi dealer to find out what's happening. Sometimes they can hold onto a car for a while before registering it but March still seems a bit far away.
  15. Fair enough, I'd just try and find one with good service history, lots of receipts etc even if high mileage. It's just a good sign it's been well cared for. Likewise I would always look for a car with a matching set of decent make tyres. Nothing says "I only do the bare minimum when looking after my car" like a mis-matching set of budgets!
  16. Looks like a lovely motor Neal - good luck with the sale :) Out of interest what did you replace it with?
  17. I like the cloth floor mats personally but I must agree with the proper boot liners they're excellent. Rubber floor mats are nice for the odd occasion though :)
  18. Sounds pretty decent Trevor are you happy with that?
  19. It's a personal preference but I'm not a fan of too much chrome. Personally I'm more of a fan of gloss black highlights/grills etc What colour is the car?
  20. If it's the same colour (usually pink/red when diluted) then it will be fine. I think in the Comma range G40 is their equivalent of VW G12 if I'm not mistaken
  21. Yes usually service history is very important and can effect the value of the car. Full service history from a main dealer is normally most desirable, followed by an Audi specialist and then an independent
  22. I guess the best bet then is to keep an eye out on ebay and see if anything comes up. Also have you had a scout round at any local scrap yards etc as they may have some on the cars in the yard?
  23. Let me know how you get on and what you find out :)
  24. Not tempted with a petrol turbo or a V6? :D
  25. I would say they would likely match and you probably won't have to pull the whole thing off just one corner or something to see the trim clips
