  1. It might be that your MMI needs a software update. Are you able to check for me which version you are currently running?
  2. Should be the VW/Audi 5w30 fully synthetic long life stuff :)
  3. You need to try and find out what the bulb warning lamp is for - could be any bulb on the car front or rear? With the headlights I would first try replacing the xenon bulbs with some OEM quality ones e.g. Philips or Osram. I think the Osram Cool Blue Intense Xenarc are meant to be pretty good but probably not the cheapest.
  4. Where did you buy it from? An Audi dealer? If it's under Audi warranty then there is a good chance it will be covered providing they don't say it's wear and tear which I would think not. Sounds like you had a bit of a rough ST no wonder it had 8 owners. I had the later MK2.5 for a while with the lovely 2.5T volvo based engine - I actually thought it was a really good car. The interior quality obviously wasn't a patch on Audi but what a wonderful engine...
  5. Hi Lee, firstly welcome to the club :) I would imagine from what you described that the problem is something in the gearbox/clutch area unfortunately. Which engine do you have? Out of interest what Focus ST did you have as I've also owned one of those in the past... What did you like/not like about that?
  6. Yeah just be patient and something will turn up eventually :)
  7. I imagine that is indeed quite a step up from a 2003 Focus B) Post some photos up when you get a minute!
  8. Bi-xenons should be better than (presumably) halogens in the A2, but bulbs will still deteriorate with age. If you have a warning light on the dash I assume you have checked to see if you have a bulb out?
  9. Do you mean it's a "top-down" view rather than 3d?
  10. Welcome to AOC :) I must admit I do like the look of the A7 - very classy yet understated. Make sure you post some photos up when you get it! What colour/engine did you get?
  11. If you put your reg in to various car checking services they will usually tell you too...
  12. Could be any of the following: Air in fuel system fuel leak fuel lift pump fuel bypass valve fuel pressure control valve high pressure fuel pump
  13. I think because you are after something quite specific you will need to keep a look out on ebay/gumtree for something to pop up and either be prepared to drive and collect or pay for a pallet etc
  14. Drive the deal always seems to get decent write ups: https://www.drivethedeal.com/buy-a-new-car/AUDI/Q7%20ESTATE/index.html
  15. Yes, likely to be the flap motors and IIRC you need to take the glovebox out to get to them
  16. I would check for obvious boost leaks first?
  17. What have you tried so far in spending the £1100 on?
  18. What type of Audi stereo do you currently have... concert, symphony, bose etc
  19. Not a brand I've personally heard of but they appear to have a proper website and are expanding fairly rapidly: http://www.bizol.com/about-bizol/
  20. Have you thought about the leather recaros from the S3? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-S3-MK1-8L-2DR-97-03-COMPLETE-BLACK-RECARO-LEATHER-INTERIOR-SEAT-DOOR-CARDS-/111707442246?fits=Car+Make%3AAudi%7CModel%3AA3&hash=item1a02484c46:g:FhMAAOSwHnFVkmLL
  21. Hi Yodi, You will need to make sure you get the correct wiring adapter depending on what factory system your car has currently (amplified etc). Once you have the correct wiring harness and also the fascia adapter panel you should be able to fit pretty much anything aftermarket you fancy in there...
  22. Hi Deek, Welcome to the club! Love the A4, looks great in blue ;) Looks like you have a few mods already.... exhaust? Plus it's looking low!
  23. Looks in good condition for the year Gavin!
  24. So did you order one? B)
  25. I would suggest the water pump would be the most likely culprit but if I remember correctly it's a pig of a job on the A6?
