  1. Sounds like you have everything then. The jack would only be there if you had a space saver, and because you have the compressor and gunge stuff, that's what you have instead....
  2. Try putting the numbers you have from the new and old wheels into the following site and see what it says: http://www.willtheyfit.com/ Quite a useful site really!
  3. I'm still impressed you managed to get them to pay up. Good on you for standing up for yourself! :D
  4. Let us know how you get on. Would be nice to see a pic when fitted :)
  5. Did you find the tool kit in the end William?
  6. Hi Tony, I created a new topic for you but for future reference just go to the relevant forum section (e.g. A5 club) and once you are in it there is a little black box in the right hand corner that says "start new topic" so just click on that :) With regards to your white screen, there are plenty of reports of this happening to people once, sometimes staying that way for a few hours but after that it corrects itself and for most people it never happens again. Perhaps it's a software bug. I wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening.
  7. Yes I would not be happy either. To be honest I'm not keen on letting anyone wash my car aside from myself, especially not one of the guys at Sainsburys. I can never get away from the fact that you just don't know how many times that cloth/sponge has been dropped on the floor etc.
  8. Hmmm I think my the sound of it either the conversion kits and/or fitting some additional lights into the grill are going to be your best options if you want it to look reasonably OEM. Another option if you weren't worried about how it looks could be additional axillary lighting mounted on roof bars etc a bit like they do on some more rugged SUV/4x4s?
  9. That's a bit strange. Maybe a software bug? I did have a quick search on the internet for you and nothing obvious popped up anywhere. Not with all those different problems anyway!
  10. Oh I see. I take it you haven't yet tried taking your apart to try and establish how many plugs yours has?
  11. Well, to be fair it's nice to have a sensibly priced alternative for those not looking to lay out £500!
  12. Hi Nazim, welcome to the club! :) Sounds like you have a nice one - you should post some photos up when you get a minute? How are you finding it being your first diesel?
  13. Alan that's quite a few problems to have in one go. It sounds like the unit itself is faulty. May be worth having a chat to a specialist company that will repair/refurbish the unit as a replacement from Audi will be mega bucks
  14. I've not seen this Carista app you're talking about before, but just taken a look at their website and I must say it looks very impressive!
  15. Just to throw this out there have you spoken to your Audi dealer to see if you can order just the clip on mirror glass but without the wide angled it? You never know as that would be a hell of a lot easier!
  16. Good news, so a success then! :)
  17. Yep, being a 2015 car I doubt there will be any other option. Unless you want to cut and stick some kind of vinyl over the top which is not something I would do on a new car like that. Perhaps see if the Audi dealer can do you a deal at cost price or something on the basis you wanted to change it?
  18. Cool, sounds good. When are you getting them fitted?
  19. Hmmm so I guess it is the key then. Perhaps time to invest in a new one and keep the old one as a spare?
  20. That's weird re Sainsburys. I know they sometimes tend to jump on you a bit but how come they ended up just doing it?
  21. As you say I think one of the main selling point for the conversion kits is the cool look vs the old halogen ones. I think a lot of it in terms of the beam pattern with conversions actually depends on the original headlights that you fit the kit in. Some older style headlights seem to suit the conversion kits better than others depending on the reflector pattern I think.
  22. You can still get paddles with DSG. First thing to try probably would be to get the oil and filter changed on the gear box. Have you thought about letting a specialist have a look at it?
  23. Hi Sunny, Welcome to the club :) Nice that you can keep the RX8 for the weekend. They're nice cars though I know a lot of people get put off my the running costs! Your Audi should be substantially more frugal to run all round and I don't think you will have the same issues with the head unit either!
  24. Hi Amy, welcome to the club! Post some photos up when you get a minute! :) How bad are the scratches? Are they do deep to machine polish?
  25. +1 on this. Chances are the wood part will be quite expensive and no doubt only available from Audi after delivery. Let us know how you get on.
