That happened to me just before the timing chain went on me, best get it looked at….if you have breakdown cover get them out.

I’ve got someone looking into a second engine however they are having no joy

Not 100% sure however it needs new pistons and some other work done. Was advised by a garage it would be cheaper to put an engine in but there having issues getting one.

Price wise I am looking at around £1,500 however open to offers. A parts from the engine the car is in very good condition, I have attached some pictures for now with more to follow.

Audi A4 Avant 2.0TSFI(211) S Line B8 2009 White Available for spares and repairs, the car is in above average condition for its age. Needs a new engine due to pistons and timing. This would be the complete car and not just the parts Open to offers. Images on request

Hi, Do we know if this can be done on the Exide EB 740 starter battery 74 Ah I have recently changed mine and can’t get the batter serial number as it doesn’t have one? I have someone with the equipment to programme the code however don’t know what to put? Any help appreciated Thanks Adam

Hi All, Hope we are well and safe? The battery recently went on my car and after I managed to get the car started every time I start the car I now get a beeping from the back of the car which beeps 4 time and stops. After I read on a few places it appears that the alarm battery may have gone and will need to be changed. I changed the batter to a new one and this didn’t resolve the issue. Has anyone changed there or know what the part is I need to order? I don’t think I can cope with the beeping much longer. Thanks Adam

Hi, I am after a replacement rear wiper arm for my Audi A4 Avant B8, I have been online and see ones on eBay and Amazon however the reviews that are on there dont fill me with confidence. Is anyone selling one or currently breaking an A4 Avant? or has anyone brought one if so where from and what did you think? Willing to collect if local to Birmingham however will pay postage. Thanks for your response Gareth It could well be the original battery to the car to be honest which is on a 2009 plate so if it is then the battery would be quite old and not functioning properly. I am having it check to see what output it has and I am also going to charge the car overnight to see if this solves the problem of the beeping from the alarm. Failing that I will bite the bullet and buy a new battery to see if this helps. Thanks again and will post an update when I have one. Adam

Hi Dave, I had the same issue with my Audi A4 Avant (B8) where i didnt use if for about 3 weeks and when I came to start it noting happened. Manage to jump start it first time so the batter wasnt as dead as yours I dont beleive however since then after starting the car and after about 15/20 seconds I have an interior beeping happen then then it stops. After some research I found out this is has something to do with the alarm system which sounds just like yours. When you gave the battery a full charge did this stop the beeping? I am debating charging the battery or getting a new one? Thanks for you help in advance. Adam

Hi All, Hope someone can help? I have a 2009 A4 Avant 2.0TFSI S-Line and have noticed that when I am turning my wheel when parking or turning in the road I get a judder come through the steering wheel? Doesn't happen when I am driving normally or when turning around a bend/roundabout.... Thanks for your help/comments in advance Adam

Hi I am looking at getting the Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI (2009MY) and wanted to know what I should be looking for? The car in talks has 115,000 on the clock, has full dealership history and had a major service 2 months ago? The car is around £7500 to buy but open to offers. Is this a fair price?
