It’s with a heathy heart the time has come to sell my pride and joy due to our new arrival, I have owned the car for a year and a half and loved every minute, it’s a hell of a car for the money considering new it was 58k! Has the usual S6 refinements heated Recaro half leather and alcantara seats, Bose sound system and 6 disc changer, has the optional extra carbon fibre inserts, dual climate control, 335bhp 4.2l V8 coupled with the legendary Quattro system and combined makes the car very nippy coming out the corners even know it’s a family wagon it surprises a lot of people, the car has loads of service history and has been very well looked after and cared for, pervious owner had a RS6 steering wheel fitted (do have the original to go with the car) and a stainless steel cat back exhaust system which I my say sounds epic! With in the time iv owed the car iv done the following work.
New battery
Front discs
Brembo pads all round
Both front window regulators
Both front door latches
Headlight levelling sensor
NGK iridium spark plugs
K n N panel filter
Wheels acid dipped and painted ( couple of paint chips now sadly but nothing a touch up pen won’t sort )
4 New Toyo Proxes sport tyres done no more than 150miles!
Also have a fair few spares to go with the car at the right price! Being registered in 2000 this means that it falls short of the higher car tax bracket too so only £270 a year rather than the £330 Over all the car is in great condition especially being nearly 21 years old but like any old car there is the odd car park ding, the private plate on the car will come with as it means nothing to me but it’s been valued at £400 if you don’t like it but personally it puts a special touch to such a iconic luxury car that is only going up in value, very occasionally the car will miss fire for a couple of seconds then clears so I plugged the car into vag com and the code it throws up is 17549 - Load Calculation Cross Check: Implausible Value intermittent.
Which could be a manifold vacuum line leak or a failing maf sensor so either way a cheap n easy fix for someone, I just don’t have the time to do it my self before selling the car with having a new born to look after, this in mind iv price the car accordingly to current market value and the fault so if you want to own a clean tidy future classic at a fair price look no further. £2850 ovno
