Hi, new to all things Audi!

and need some advice how how easy it is to change it at home with basic tools? Have read that taking the bumper off is advisable.
I want to change the chrome frame/rings and have seen someone use plasti-dip or something similar. This would obviously be a cheaper option but will it be as effective?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
