  1. Hi Stevey, many thanks for your reply. It turned out to be the pump itself, so luckily was an easy fix. Thanks again.
  2. Hi all, hoping someone can help - the headlight washers on my 2010 A3 Sportback 1.8TFSI have stopped working. I've checked the fuse (F32) and can also hear a relay trigger every 5th activation of the wipers (with headlights on). When the relay clicks on / off , voltage can briefly be seen at the headlight washer pump. It would appear that the relay isn't staying on long enough to activate the washer pump. Does anyone have any ideas what might be at fault?
  3. Has anyone else noticed a whine in 1st gear? I've a 2010 A3 6 speed manual with 60k miles. The gear changes are silky smooth, just have the noise in 1st gear. The car's new to me so I don't know if it's always done it.
  4. Hi all, I've recently purchased a very tidy 60k mile 2010 1.8TFSI A3 Black Edition. The cam followers failed on the previous owner so it's had a lot of head work done. I've just noticed a spigot just below the fuel pump that looks like it should have a hose connected. I'm concerned the garage has missed this when fitting the repaired head. Does anytone have the same engine and can confirm if it should have a hose attached? I've included a picture of the offending spigot. Cheers, Steve
