  1. Thanks sir..I appreciate your input. I will investigate that forthwith. 🙂
  2. FAULT CODE -0299-(Turbo underboost) Kicks in @ 2100rpm -3000rpm Power reduction and glow plug lamp flashes Condition usually resets upon ignition reset.. Sometimes needs OBD to perform fault reset. POSSIBLE BOOST SENSOR? or TURBO FAULTY?
  3. This is a truly universally common fault. I had to replace the control module and two locking mechs.
  4. My a4 b8 avant goes into limp mode at 2100 rpm, the glow plug light flashes and occasionally the engine management light comes on also. Diagnostic shows underboost fault. It always resets after restarting the engine. Is this terminal turbo signs or perhaps just a boost sensor? Help gratefully received!
  5. I coul be wrong but the fault on my B8 which would randomly deadlock 1, 2, 3 or all doors at once making it impossible to get in. Turned out that rear door actuators were faulty and these were interfering with the front door locks. Replaced both rear actuators.. Solved it.
  6. Indeed thats odd. I have the same model A4. All I have ever had to do is search bluetooth devices on phone and select 'Audi ******' and connection is immediate. I also have the cradle but its obselete and unimportant. If your phone cannot find the car, it's may be a fault or maybe it would be helpful to update drivers and your phones o/s. Sorry I can't be of more help.. Godd luck buddy 😁
  7. I bought the CR-TECH2 multi map box from Bluespark Automotive and I would say it is possible to achieve greater fuel consumption levels, although it is not straight forward! The extra torque produced at low end is considerably increased which makes changing up earlier possible. However, having that extra grunt between 1500-2500 is seductive! The CR-TECH2 multi map, as it's name suggests is capable of running three different map programs. The three are pretty obvious, starting at eco mode and you can change these settings at any time by simply moving terminal jumpers in the map module box. In conclusion, if you can rein yourself in and screw the nut, you can conceivably save a wee bit fuel, or experience the better part of your Audi thats normally locked away, lying dormant... Make your choice... NOW! 😁
