Tried this today but no joy, when i follow this i can reset the oil service but not the main service warning. When i pull and hold the dial it flicks to the oil service and resets this only not sure what i am doing wrong. It is a 2008 A3 2.0 TDI dahs looks the same except i get a message on the display saying service due not just service like the video above

ah ok i will have a look tonight to see if i can get the code. Might give it a go myself i can always get someone to sort it out if i bodge it. Been looking on ebay for a couple of these trim pieces but the matt light grey does not seem to be a popular trim colour.

Yes i think taking the boot off looks like the only thing to do looks a bit of a job to do it though with all the auto boot gear in the roof of the car to disconnect i think i will just live with it for now.

thanks Steve Yes had all these panels off but there is no access in behind the panels to get your hand in or a hoover nozzle to get rid of the glass fragments guess i might have to live with it for now.

yes looking to prep and paint the panels in situ - how do i find out the paint code for these panels so i can order rattle cans for the job ?

Hi Just serviced my 2008 a3 managed to reset the oil service but I am still getting the service due warning on the dash can I reset this as well or does it need plugging in to do this?

I had a similar problem and found it was the door wiring loom had a break right where the door hinge is try to remove the rubber cover over the loom and check for breaks in the wires soldered mine up and all works fine now

Hi Just bought a 2007 Q7 it is dark grey with lighter grey trim on the lower outer part of the doors the trim is a matt finish can these be repainted? I have been looking for replacement trim panels but can't find them as the current panels are scratched and need sorting.

Hi all Need some help got a Q7 that had a new rear screen before I bought it but it has glass rolling around in the tailgate when the tail opens and closes I have removed the rear boot panels but there does not seem to be any access to get to the glass fragments anyone got any advice on how I can get this glass out?

Hi all I have just bought a 2008 A3 S Line with a few minor problems. Power windows on drivers side do not work at all but work on passenger side. Central locking activates but does not lock on the drivers side and when unlocked will not unlock passenger side. I have been doing some research and it looks like it could be the vacuum pump what do people think. i have also read another forum post about the windows is this linked to the vacuum pump as well or is this another separate problem? Any help hugely appreciated.

Hi all Had my 2007 Q7 for a couple of weeks lovely car, I do have a few small issues that i need to address. First is the MMI system all works perfectly except the SETUP button which does not illuminate when pressed or do anything on the screen, all i want to do is change the clock to the correct time but can't do it. I have seen it is fairly easy to remove the switch plate from the centre console, do i need to buy a new micro switch for this can i buy it separately or is it part of the complete MMI switch system. Any advice would be great thanks.
