Sorry for the delay in posting. Picked up the A6 and went for the Vodafone S5 Tracker fitted by Audi Coulsdon. Unfortunately, the tracker had a fault but I had no problem getting it replaced immediately. I have had BlackVue dashcams fitted front and rear with backup battery. I would like some upgrades and I have been speaking to my friend Ash at Audi Retrofits about some upgrades to make my life a little easier. I hurt my back in 2022 and the electric, heated 4 way lumbar support goes a long way with my back. A couple of weeks ago I got a message to update the Satnav which I did but it seems to have stopped downloading the European maps and shows 66% downloaded and trying to continue. I have it booked in with Audi on Friday so hoping that it will be a quick fix. I did purchase a 90 day 15GB data pack from Cubic Telecom for £21.99 in case it was due to the Audi Connect using the FREE 3GB of data that you get with the car. Just wondering if anyone on here has anything like what I have experienced with the satnav, I do know it is a MIB3. Now, what you previously asked for; It is a White A6 40 TFSI on 19" wheels (I will try to get some photos of the car in due course). Whilst I was waiting to pick up my car, I did 'sit' in an RS6 in their showroom. 😈 It is an amazing machine and I love the tech it has. I know I was tempted to drive that away but I also know I do NOT have deep pockets! Maybe one day. I have driven it down to Bournemouth from Biggin Hill and I got 51mpg! I was shocked at the economy of my A6 but I drove leisurely as I was in no hurry to get to where I was going. On arrival in Bournemouth I felt refreshed and did not want to get out of the car. My daughter loves the car and asked me when she can drive it 😋 Thanks for reading. 👍 ATVB! David ☺️

Hi ALL! 😉 I went out today to go and see an Audi A4 and I have signed off on an Audi A6 40 TFSI after being taken out for a spin and then driving it myself. I only went to have a 'look' but I decided to pull the trigger on the A6. I previously owned an A3 1.6 petrol and then upgraded to a A5 convertible then lastly to an S3 Quattro. I loved the S3 and felt the loss after part exchanging it against a VW Transporter T6.1. I just loved how smooth the A6 was and the tech was amazing. The quality of the interior was on another level to me. I have been inside my friend's A7 and that felt like a spaceship! I have come back to Audi and this forum to educate myself about my new purchase. Please be gentle as I will probably have to put in some time to reading the manual 😃 but any help or advice regarding my new purchase will be greatly appreciated. ☺️ ATB! David

Good afternoon All, I have a 2014 S3 2.0 8V manual saloon and am looking to have a Stage 1 remap. I have had the car for the last 4 years and it has only done 43000 miles. I am looking for the best reapers and thought as this may be a subjective topic I would ask people who have actually had the remap and their opinion of the remap done. Thanks in advance. I also tried to ask AUDI for the information but they can only offer part numbers as it is in their interests to promote their products. Short of trying to take the gear knob off myself (limited mechanical skills) I will have to keep l;ooking for someone who may have the information I require.... David.

Hi ALL!!! I am looking to fit a custom gear knob (GENUINE 8-ball) from Limebug on my AUDI A3 Sportback and have been looking on various sites as to how to do this. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be much information and I am a little hesitant to attempt this without knowing how to go about this. I also need to know what size 'gear shift knob adaptor reducer' I will need, as there are so many sizes available from the online shop selling the custom gear knob I want. Hi ALL! :D I recently purchase a 2008 A3 1.6 petrol Sportback and note it is fitted with a AUDI CHORUS sound system. It would appear that there are no speakers in the rear doors BUT there are speaker grills in the door panels? I have my A3 booked in for 8:00am tomorrow at my local AUDI dealer who have offered to give my A£ a FREE Health-Check!!! I have asked them if they can make a technician available to talk to me as I wish to install a connection for my iPod 160GB. My best friend has given me what looks like an iPod tray made by VW BUT looks as though it will fit in my 'split' glove box. Has anyone installed an iPod in this way or had similar issues regarding the speaker set-up in their A3 as above? I would like to hear from you and how you resolved these issues. Hi ALL! I bought myself an AUDI A3 1.6 Petrol Sportback Limited Edition (2008) yesterday and love it! I am hoping to upgrade the specs of the car and install some custom parts as I wish personalise my car, not that it needs much doing!!! I will keep you all posted on how I get on with my First ever AUDI vehicle.... Love to hear from like minded people and their trials and tribulations. ATVB! David
