Im looking at the same now and just started a thread - if i get anywhere further than a bluetooth FM transmitter Ill let you know.. think Denison do a module that fits in with the cd changer by emulating it but would rather change all the units and have a nicer display than the red 2g basic.. even seen an awesome android dash replacement but would need a diff. mmi update you soon I hope! Hi all, so based in NW, have an 07 3.0 TDI as a replacement to my BMW320D - originally bought Q7 whilst I try to fix the compression issue on the 320. (ingested swirl flap, but think I may be lucky as found all the bits in the manifold - just soaking it so will know when the blanking kit arrives and I rebuild it) however rather loving the Audi... so think if fixable the BMW will be sold. Considering a remap etc to Q7 to help tuning, but more so MPG. - has anyone done this and can give me some realistic expectations of whats achieved, prices and recommendations of where to go etc? Also in light of Swirl Flap issue on 320 - is this worth deleting on the Q7 - assuming it may also be a thing for this engine and is there anything else I should consider? thanks in advance.

Hi All, Apologies for what may be a tired and repeated thread... but here goes - so read and confused myself somewhat on this MMI topic. I have a red screened MMI 2G Basic system in my 2007 Q7. As such i believe there is no aux. input for me to connect a Bluetooth receiver for my phone or other devices. I have read that to replace this I would need to change the screen, head unit, cd player, amp and possibly controller (did I miss something on that?) which sounds daunting but is something I considered as the basic screen is a bit lame and I have seen an android screen for the dash that looks awesone - but hey money, and age of car. Also seen some denison units that allegedly will work somehow to add a channel to the 2g - it works by emulating the CD changer I believe - but is this possible with what I have? Presently I have a £10 Amazon FM transmitter powered by cigarette lighter and parrot handsfree - but this is a bit home brew for me and dont like the permanent 12v feed to fm transmitter so pondering a switched relay. - but if Im doing that I may take a view on some ebay units to uplift the MMI. so questions are: 1. has anyone ever upgraded the components to uplift MMI - if so can they list the bits Id need - professionally done it would be cheaper to buy another car I reckon. 2. has anyone used the Denison (or alternative) kit to provide an interface, if so was it with the basic 2g mmi? 3. will I need to visit audi to code anything or can others do this etc... any other inspiration? thanks in advance for what may be a well trodden and discussed road.. That’s brilliant many thanks - not at all like the sticker then! I’ll dig out the books when I get home Friday and have a look for the replicated sticker. But many thanks. It does indeed have a pearlescent look to it under the sun so sounds right.

Hi all - cry out for help due to impulse buy for a bit of fun - but has left me pondering the paint code? Found it in the boot - but very worn - code Im guessing ti reads as doesn't return any paint 😞 Can anyone help? 2 pics attached. (looks like SK99 but think thats white?) thanks in advance
