  1. And.... Sold. Took around 18 hours... I should've charged more 🙂
  2. You need to stick to something with the same overall parameters. So to have a higher sidewall, you'll need to reduce the wheel size down from 21". This website shows the options: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/audi/a7/2013/ In summary, the options are: 255/45ZR18 99Y 8.5Jx18 ET32 5x112 2.4 / 2.1 235/55R17 99H 7Jx17 ET25 5x112 2.4 / 2.1 235/55ZR17 99Y 8Jx17 ET30 5x112 2.4 / 2.1 235/45R19 99V 8Jx19 ET26 5x112 2.4 / 2.2 255/40ZR19 100Y 8.5Jx19 ET32 5x112 2.4 / 2.2 255/40ZR19 100Y 9Jx19 ET32 5x112 2.4 / 2.2 265/35ZR20 99Y 9Jx20 ET37 5x112 2.4 / 2.2 275/30ZR21 98Y 9Jx21 ET35 5x112 2.6 / 2.3 My only query would be whether a smaller radius will fit over the brakes, but from your picture the brakes look normal sized so you should be able to drop all the way to the R17
  3. 4x Audi A7 (2011-17) 17" Wheels and Winter Tyres Pirelli SottoZero Winter 210 Serie II 235/55 R17 99H 5-6mm on each Wheels - part 4G8 601 025H 7Jx17H2 ET25 5x112 Caps - part 4F0 601 165 £200
  4. Have you looked here? https://ownersmanuals2.com/make/audi
  5. I've done more digging on charge times (and cables). You're right (obviously), the supplied Type2-Type2 cable is only 20A... which will never achieve the theoretical times from Audi. But there are other "things" which will get in the way of achieving the theoretical times. UK Homes generally get around 230V. So a 20A cable will theoretically get 4.3kW of load. But due to loss you can generally drop that to 80%, ie: 3.68kW. Even with a 30A cable, you would have a theoretical load of 7.36kW, dropping to around 5.88kW with the 80% adjustment. if your eTron has the 83.6kW battery, that would mean a 0-100% time of 14hrs, or with the upgraded 95kW battery 16hrs. I've been doing timed tests with both my Home "Granny" plug and with commercial PodPoints (etc) and the 80% reduction seems pretty accurate (with a 230V load).
  6. VAGTune in Aylesbury are good... but might be too far for you?
  7. I wasn't aware of this.... but I plan on buying a new Type2-Type2 32A 10metre cable when I get my Home point installed. (I only have a hybrid TFSIe. For me, it is the length of the supplied cable that is the problem.... it really constrains where I can park on the drive in relation to where the point will be installed.
  8. Compared to the A7 sportback.... it looks FAT... like a middle-aged executive that has let itself go a bit!
  9. I've had my A7 TFSIe for a month now. We're getting around 25miles to a charge on pure electric. We've done the following to "help" with the range: - Turn off air conditioning to the rear seats - Put the car in "efficient" mode. The MMI can show what the main power consumers are, so you might find that helps reduce battery load thereby improving driving range. Of course... if we're not doing a short pootling journey, the car goes into dynamic mode and we use the battery to provide the full 360bhp... sod the environment!!!
  10. I've had a 3rd-hand 2011 A7 for the past 3 years, and liked it so much that I'm trading in for another one. Yes, I have had a couple of gearbox issues during that time; one caused by the electronics, and one by a bursting oil hose. Neither required a new gearbox though. That might sound like it is fraught with problems, but EVERY car I've had has had it's own unique issue (like a BME5series that needed topping the radiator up every 1000 miles, and often blew holes in the radiator itself!). I've found the A7 to be a proper "luxury barge", smooth ride, and not as common a sight on the roads as A6/A6/Jag/BMW. I have the petrol 3.0 which has a nice amount of poke in the right range for overtaking on A roads when required. The trouble with just reviewing the Internet forums, is that most people only visit when they have a problem. The quietness of this forum is a combination of the low numbers of people that drive A7s, and the (realistically) low number of problems.
  11. Did you change the speaker in the end? I know that my 2011 A7 has managed to go through both FrontDoor speakers... although I suspect it is the volume that my wife plays her music at that is the root-cause!
