  1. Hi Gareth, Sorry for the bad English haha! I've had the Brake discs and brake pads changed on the front driver side and front passenger side of the car, and yes I had this job done day before yesterday and was fine up until then, no noise nothing. I have uploaded a video of the noise, its more as I let off the pedal than when I depress it. Hopefully, that makes more sense! Thank you! IMG_8555.MOV
  2. Hi there, I recently had the brake discs and pads replaced on the front of my car on both axles as well, drove the car and immediately heard this whooshing noise when I depress the brake? it sounds like either fluid or air being let out or something? I'm really not sure what it is. If anyone could help that would be appreciated. Thank you!
  3. Hi mate, yeah I think I know what you're on about, the M32 g/box? It's very similar to that but I can't find anyone else with a VAG car or A3 with this issue. Yes, mate I'm in Bridgend, South Wales, so if I can track him down that would be ideal. I literally don't know anywhere around here that would be good to take it to. Cheers for the help mate, appreciate it.
  4. I did think this but I thought if it was diff surely it would be in all the gears? Unless it only happens at that speed? Think I'm going to have to book it in, do you think it's worth going to the dealer?
  5. So I do a lot of motorway miles in my A3, and few months ago notice in mainly 6th at around 50/55MPH I notice a whining noise if I accelerate and let go of the accelerator? My initial instinct is some sort of bearing but not sure if it’s normal? You can just about hear it in this video, it’s louder in the actual car IMG_7608.MOV
  6. Thank you v much for the reply! I went to the dealership and they said the exact same as you, luckily I have had the work done on my car already and they replaced the whole actuator which did cost around £400. However, for some reason the dealership thought that charging the battery would get rid of the issue? obviously it didn't haha! a very good choice of car, cheers once again mate
  7. So this time I have a turbo issue with the car, scanned it and the codes P2526 and P334B come up, had a look at what they are and 'turbocharger boost control position sensor 'A' circuit' and 'Charge pressure actuator mechanical function'. was wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their TFSI A3 and how they went about fixing it? it is a 2014 but only got like 33000 miles on it so I don't really want to change the whole turbo unless I have to cuz it is still relatively new? has anyone got any advice ? much appreciated!
  8. Hi mate, you are right with Mr Sinclair's Empire hahaha, I have basically done that today, took it for an 'Italian service' and both the warning lights are off the dashboard and the car is running smoothly, so I am assuming that it is fine for now anyway. Thank you very much for your help, much appreciated. Ryan.
  9. I haven't driven the car properly for 3 months due to being away with work, but I came back on Monday go to start my car and EPC light is on, I drive on but notice that the car is down on power but can go over 3000RPM, turned it off and back on again after about an hour and the light was still there but went off and power was back to normal and then it came on again whilst driving as well as the check engine light this time, basically just repeated the steps and this time the EPC light went off but the check engine light stayed on, then both of them went off. Took it to the dealership, all they said to do was fill it up at BP, drive around for 15 minutes and see if it goes off and if it doesn't then book it in.
