  1. Hi Again, That is a ludicrous price for a space saver wheel from Audi. (£475) just to lie in the boot, and you may never need it. the wheel shop is your best option as far as I can see, unless you have plenty of money to throw away,
  2. Hi Again, I found that the toolkit was very robust. I'm sure you will find it ok.
  3. Hi, Try the wheel shop for a space saver wheel and jack, they have your size in stock. maybe not genuine Audi, but excellent quality. I have one from there for my q3. p.s. Audi supplied the foam fitting for tools etc. hope this helps.
  4. Wheel balance perhaps ??
  5. Hi, I have a 2024 q3 1.5 tfsi, s line again no engine cover fitted. I delved into the reason why, and was told that in the past, some engine covers were going on fire due to the heat from the turbo. p.s. you can get them off eBay if you search, but I wouldn't risk it. hope this helps. by the way, I have a Manuel dipstick fitted to my engine. Brian.
  6. Hi, The wheel shop is worth a try, I got a space saver for my 2024 q3 from them. Brian.
  7. I would try the space saver wheel on the front of the car to make sure it clears the brake caliper first. Brian.
  8. as far as I can remember, going back a few years on various Audi's I have owned, there has always been a low brake pad warning sensor fitted to the inner brake pad on the o/s/r.
  9. Allan without complicating matters, if you google (Audi Service Intervals,) all will become clear. hope this helps. Brian.
  10. Hi, I bought my Q3 tfsi s line, new on 1/10/24, to date it has only covered 2400 miles. my car is set on the annual service schedule, and for the last few days has been reminding me, that it requires a service in 30 days or so. Magnet, is correct in saying about low mileage vehicles requiring frequent oil changes. mine is going in on the 29/09/24. luckily my first 2 services and mot's, where included in the package when I bought the car. Brian.
  11. Hi, A big pair of pliers will get them off. Brian
  12. I think he is after the cover, which hides the mounting point, where you screw in the towing eye. Brian.
  13. Hi Yes, the 46mm reading on your Laser dipstick is correct for the 2ltr idi engine. Brian.
  14. A5Kev. On my earlier post, I gave the make and part no of the dipstick which I have, I bought it a few years ago, so that I could get an accurate oil reading on my A4 Allroad 2ltr tdi the dipstick comes with instructions on how to adjust it depending on which engine you have. (by the way, out of curiosity, I once called into my local Audi Dealer, and asked them if they would check the engine oil level, the mechanic brought out the identical dipstick from the workshop as I had) enough said. Brian.
