  1. I had the aerial lead replaced in late July and DAB now works perfectly. Unfortunately I got the bill last week. The aerial lead cost £188 + vat and with labour the total was £428! 😩
  2. Many thanks for the advice. I took the car to my local Audi specialist. He ran a diagnostic and came up with the antenna lead to the amplifier. It sits alongside the wiring loom to the tailgate apparently. They need to remove the lead and measure it to ensure they get the correct one and reinstall. Going in next week, so fingers crossed.🤑
  3. I have a 2012 Audi Q3 2.0 TDI S-tronic which I have owned for nearly 4 years. Just recently i have been losing the DAB radio stations. Initially this was intermittent, but is now completely lost. FM works fine as do all the other electrical/electronic devices. I tried restoring factory radio settings on the MMI set up, but that made no difference. Any help would be appreciated as I want to sell and buy a newer example. Sorry if this has come up before but couldn't trace anything when I did a search.
  4. Thanks for your advice Steve. It took a while to get around to fixing the problem. Seemed to be leak at the base of the windscreen. Used some sealant, put back the carpet and it seems fine now. Thanks again.
  5. Yes it was tap water so that sounds like a good idea. I will try again and for longer and let you know how it goes. Thanks Chris
  6. My wife’s 2003 1.4 TDI has recently developed a water leak in the drivers footwell. The car is not used a great deal having only done 91000 miles in 20 years, so tends to stand a lot. The carpet is wet but with no sign of water ingress. The water is clear, so not screenwash or cooling system. No cooling system leaks and the heater works fine. We have not driven through any floods. Have checked pipe from wiper arm to engine bay. I frequently clear the leaves out. Noticed it because of condensation on windscreen. I have run water around the screen, which is a possible suspect of course. Would be pleased with any suggestions and whether this is a common fault. Many thanks in advance
