  1. Hi all..... I seem to remember a chat a few years ago on this topic.... Can anyone confirm.....on an S4 Avant, B9 say...2016 reg'd.....were both sides functioning, (ie, the model with 2 round tips showing both sides). Was it only the next gen, ie 17/18 onwards that had two exits, but only one actually had a purpose? Thanks, David
  2. Nice to see youre still around Gareth 😉......best wishes...
  3. Good luck
  4. *** This has now sold *** Thank you.
  5. 👍
  6. Replied in wants ...
  7. May now be looking to sell mine...pls pm me if interested....its 190 tdi but better mpg than 1.4 petrol ?
  8. 👍
  9. Agree, On my longer trips, i usually set off early in morning, and stick to around 56mph, on the way back - its a different story haha ! So outward journey 80 plus...return journey average 66mpg.....still an incredible daily mpg, esp for such a comfortable car, with most of the 'extras' you need in a business class vehicle. Off topic, not long after i aquired it, i saw an identical spec, but with red leather seat option, and panoramic glass roof - not many like that out there !!
  10. Ps....even on an A-road, and not in efficiency mode, its still giving late 50s to early 60s.....outstanding business vehicle.
  11. I think its because I worry about a cars worth when it has 150k on it, as opposed to 100k. However its as if the car has only just reached its peak efficiency, those figures i get are real, and regular ! Also, the option of a company car keeps popping up...its ok taking the allowance i get now, but even with higher tax rates, tempting to sell and have a fully expensed company vehicle. However, due to lack of availability this exact model spec and year, if i keep the allowance, ill probably keep car until maybe 130k, I think any longer would effect value too much.
  12. Yes....slow lane with the hgv's...at about 57mph....regularly had 74.3 now as few more miles and recent service, 81.3mpg.....and 74 on dual carriegeways.
  13. Cheers Steve....but how do they do it eh ? A car thats still perfectly quick enough, 190, yet free to use in pollution zones, and 80mpg ? Oh, and so comfy, even after a 3 hr drive up M5 and M6 etc, no stiffness ? That particular model is very special....89k now, (40k when aquired) was going to change, but as you say, cant find one anyway, so im happy to keep for now, and when it goes over the 100k....so what ? Awesome car
  14. Ok, i know its maybe eye and beholder material....BUT...in my opinion, best ever model available was B9 mofel years LATE 16 to early 18 ? The 190 ultra model, just gets better with age and mileage....in avant form, currently giving 78 to 85 on motorway in efficiency mode - and much nicer looking from front than post 18 models ! Was looking to replace with identical spec, due to creeping mileage, but seems VERY hard to find... Audi A4 Avant S-line 190 Ultra S-Tronic 16 - 18 👍👍
  15. I'm going to make a wild guess here....that it's to do with the "pipes" on one side are purely cosmetic...and only one side actually "exhausts" ....as I said...it's only a guess....so please don't shoot me down...
  16. 😀
  17. Hi and welcome ... My service was approx was oil and filter change and inspection approx 220. Cam belt all belts and tensioner PLUS water pump, plus full service including air and fuel filters etc.....was approx 1050 so Cam belt (all belts and tensioner PLUS water pump) approx 700 They also did brake fluid change free of charge normally 54. If you have Auto S-Tronic I advise to change that too. Most people ignore it. I think Audi recommend at 40000. Mine cost approx 170. Hope this helps David
  18. Hi. This may be for sale shortly, depending on acceptance of new job with company car. Just putting early feelers out really, to see if anyone may be interested. Can always add photos and more details later. Was not expecting to look to sell, so recently replaced brake discs and pads and tyres, including brake fluid change and thus car needs absolutely nothing doing to it. 74000 miles. Full Audi service history. Just passed mot, has 1 year and two weeks on certificate. Cam belt and tensioner and water pump replaced by Audi at approx 70000. Auto gearbox oil replaced by Audi. Recent discs and pads all round. Recent tyres. Virtually new on front. Extremely good on back. Black metallic paint. Facelift model....led lights, dynamic rear indicators, all usual S-line refinements. Alloys in amazing condition. 190bhp engine. Lovely car, maintained through business so no expense spared. All Audi receipts. Well looked after car. Owned from 46500 miles, Sept 2020, all motorway/dual carriageway type miles.
  19. Hi. Just for all those that keep going on about dealers being stealers, and we must all use "indies" (independant).... I continue to disagree and offer an alternative opinion. Yet again, just had routine work done at Audi main dealer. Full service and timing belt/tensioner and water pump replaced. Very competitive price. Plus they did a brake fluid change as it was due, and did not charge for this ! Booked in with only 4 days notice, AND as I needed a courtesy car of a similar size to what I'm used to (A4 Avant), they lent me a 2021 registered A6 from demo stock. All parts used are genuine Audi....and warranted for 12 months, and it looks way better in my service history for work to have been done by dealer. Now, of course it's individual choice and opinion, but to me it's a 'no brainer to use my local Audi dealer. David
  20. Haha....I don't know, the dealer fixed it when it was in for service. They said it was fitted incorrectly. I took it out again recently to transport a mower, and put it back in and works fine. Maybe just try removing it and putting back ? Regards David
  21. Thanks for reply.... Checked manual again, and this pressure with book symbol by it is for comfort setting ! Regards David
  22. Hello....and welcome. I've read your post and afraid I haven't really got anything useful to post ! Regarding tyre pressures, I've just had two new front tyres and after leaving garage, I kept having warning lights about pressure...so I checked them all, and stored in mmi. Yes it didn't ask me what each one was, just for me to confirm that all as they should be......thus my related post below ! I'm sure someone will be along soon with better answers to your questions...be patient !! Regards David
