Hi , just a quicky to those in the know. Just had my timing belt and water pump replaced ( at 6 years old but only 25k miles) and when ringing around for quotes was asked "which pump was it" . I learned that the two variants are both toothed belt driven but one has electrical connections and cost about £30 more ( which mine was). I should have asked the garage at the time but what is the electrical connection for ???
