  1. No problem. Keep your fingers out of the way as they snap on quite tight.
  2. Hi Mike I replaced all the badges on my Avant Black Edition to black. The front badge is held on by plastic clips. Start at the bottom with a thin screwdriver or a trim kit and work your way round. It pings off eventually. Accurately measure it as they vary from year to year. The side and rear badges fishing line and evostick remover to clean up with. I bought all the badges from Ebay for around £25. Tony
  3. Hi Very sadly my wife has passed away. I have a mobility scooter hoist in my Avant that is unfortunately no longer required, if anybody is interested. I also have the scooter. Tony
  4. Hi Just an update, with more info. I was Sales Manager for an Italian Porcelain wall and floor tile manufacturer and distributor. I travelled extensively mainly UK but also Europe and Brazil. Took redundancy in 2000 didn't work for a couple of years. Golf handicap come down nicely. Got bored, got a job delivering and collecting new cars for a multi- franchise company. Again, travelled the UK. Now retired, playing golf again regularly. Tony
  5. Joking aside. These body work noises are so annoying. My front suspension on my A6 creaks a bit. Been in at Audi no problems. Still cost me £160 for an inspection. Tony
  6. Hi Munir I get a creaking noise every time I go upstairs. I think it is probably my knees. Tony
  7. Hi Derek. I am concerned for you and your car. As the car is more than 5 years old and has done 100k miles the cam belt is well over due. If it did break or shred it can cause catastrophic damage to the engine. The £600 to £1000 pounds to replace it is much cheaper than the £6000 to replace the engine.
  8. Hi Derek. Assuming that you have had it regularly serviced, check that the brake fluid has been changed. Are you doing this your self, as I have just had my cam belt and water pump replaced by my friendly Audi dealership and it was £915. Tony
  9. Hi Mo Just scanning through past forum entries, did you get your A6 and is every thing OK? Tony
  10. Much, much better, thanks. Tony
  11. Thanks for the info. Job done, my friends at Kia sorted it. No charge, just a drink for the boys. Tony
  12. Hi Gareth. My part time job is delivering new cars for Kia. So I will run it into them this afternoon to get it done. I just wanted to be sure that they used the correct gas for The Audi and not some mickey mouse stuff from South Korea. Tony
  13. Hi Gregg I think The Tech Pack includes a slightly larger screen, electric seats, etc. If you go into the media system on the screen the jukebox should be there as an option. Tony
  14. Thanks Steve. I found a little sticker under the bonnet with the gas type stamped on it. Tony
  15. Just returned from Eastbourne after driving my A6 with a "warm air" air con system. Possibly needs a regas. Any ideas which gas Audi use? Tony
  16. Hi James My A6 Avant is a Black Edition with a Tech Pack. Kev is right you get a bigger screen and a "Jukebox"! Which you can add to via SD, USB or CD. Tony
  17. Hi Just got the A6 back from Audi South East. Cam belt and water pump changed. Running really sweetly as it should, nice and clean, wallet £915.00 lighter.
  18. Hi Erhan At this late stage you will have to telephone the organiser to get you tickets sent by e-mail. I have mine already, they came yesterday evening. Tony
  19. HI Steve Shame you will miss Bromley. But will think of you sipping cocktails by some exotic beach in The Caribbean, or Scarborough. Tony
  20. Hi Jamie I had mine fitted by Autologics. Really good job, took about 1.5 hours at home. I know mine is an A6 but I think they do all Audi's. Tony
  21. Look OK to me.
  22. Hi Kia Welcome. You should come to the Bromley Show and display your car on the club stand. The details are on the forum. Tony
  23. Hi David. Welcome If you like taking pictures of all types of cars, you should come to The Bromley Show. Tony
  24. Hi Steve Just been checking recent service history for my car. Brake fluid changed 12k ago. Filters changed with major service 5k ago. All done at Audi. They didn't check history. Rear brakes don't look too bad to me. But, I have booked it in to Audi for cam belt replacement though. Local garage quoting nearly £700, so, Audi doesn't look too bad. Tony
  25. Hi Just got my car back from the Audi Stealership, (Sorry Typo) Dealership. I have paid £160 for a nice valet and pushing a piece of pipe on. Oh, and putting the trim back. They also gave me a list of items that need doing. Cam Belt change £915. (Probably true 59K miles.) Brake fluid change £100. Rear discs and pads. £550. Air filter £60. Pollen Filter £80. Full Service was done by Audi January 2021 56K. Surprising how quickly things wear out these days. Still, I can wash my rear window now. Tony
