i have a 2000 Audi A3 1.9tdi which has a dreadful squeak. it has a new alternator a new auxiliary belt, timing Belt and Tensioner. i have put timing belts on and each time it goes quiet but starts squeaking again after a couple of days. The squeak also disappears after the car warms up. Any ideas please.

Hi, Sorry i would like to help but i don't know much about the Gearboxes, all i know is that my gearbox is the old 5 speed auto and yours is possible the 6 speed which might be a belt driven one. They are very nice cars and that will be my next one but in the 2L Diesel.
