  2. hi guys,ive had my coupe parked outside for a couple of days and theres a serious amount of water after lodging in the drivers side rear,i think its my door rubbers but i saved up some rain water and poured it over the doors and they seem fine,also the boot is dry and i stripped and checked the front panel below wipers and its clear too.there seems an awful lot of water as we didnt get much rain in the time it was out.im thinking could it be the heater matrix?and is there any easy way to check[i know its a pig of a job to do] any suggestions on how to fix this would be very welcome.greg. .

  4. its a lot harder now because of brexit to buy from the uk here in ireland as theres a 20% customs charge on anything bought from the uk,its a right pain.
  5. yeah i was a bit unsure of the mmi oil level sensor at first but after changing the oil a few times it does seem accurate to me.
  6. i must see can i disable it so with the vcds,i must also get more familiar with the vcds as i only use the basic functions on it up to now.
  7. a good quality two sided tape [gorilla]would do the trick id say
  8. its an interesting debate folks,i personally hate the start/stop system and when i use our a6 i turn it off the minute i get into the car!

  12. hi lads,you can buy the connector with the 2 pins on ebay and it connects then to any standard obd .greg

  14. hi ben,a friend of mine got a clutch fitted in 2016 a6 in the main dealers,clutch was slipping like mad and it turned out the new clutch got contaminated with oil by the apprentice who worked on it,they eventually took it back and replaced the clutch after a lot of hassle

  18. hi ian audi tradition in germany still stock genuine parts pre 2004.they shoud have these but ask if they are oem as i got a grill last year and the quality was rubbish.i emailed and told them so they sent me another one and that was crap too. they are not cheap either!
