  1. Good morning folks, Poolcow here, quick intro as not a fan of just jumping in and asking for advice without saying hello first. Long time lurker ( joined in 2014 I think lol ) but not a regular poster. Bit of an Audi man having gone through a lot of the range between me and Mrs Poolcow we've had TT, A3 Quattro, and she now on an S1 and I'm A4, A6 Quattro, Q7, A7 Quattro TFSI and onto my latest and so far the best S8. Struggling with what's next after the S8 tbh but liking the look of RSQ8, just a bit out of my price range when it does land lol Anyway enough rambling to the point. I'm hoping somebody could help with an issue I have just had on my 2015 S8. Given its brass monkeys my lovely heater has decided to only blow ice cold air out. Last nights journey home in a T-Shirt was very pleasant..... I have had something similar with the A6 which was resolved by some advice from here I gleaned and hoping a resident expert can help out with the S8. Its not been a gradual reduction of heat but sudden where's it all gone moment. Engine temp is fine and when it first happened I did the IT fix of switch it off and on again ( all car ) and it blew hot. Now today its freezing and wont come back despite on and offing it a few times. Suspect it must be something electrical given the sudden nature of the fault but before I bend over at the dealer I like to know a little of what I'm about to be shafted on. Its 5 months out of Audi warranty but do have private warranty to fall back on but again forewarned is forearmed. Any experts out there seen similar and proffer any sage advice please.   2. Hi there. New to A7 ownership with a 2011 3.0 TFSI. Not new to audis having had between me and the missus a TT, A3 Quattro, A6 Quattro, Q7 and current S1. So asking for any knowledgable folks out there for their experience. Love the pull of the A7 but after a mate was desk surfing got onto Google at work and looking at tuning. seen an ad for racechip at just over £100 for an extra 50 horses.... Seems cheap plug and play but concerned it's too cheap. Anybody used these add on harness type kits. I'd go for a superchip bluefin but they don't list one for the TFSI model. always like to research before a purchase so hopefully might get some answers back. if not then all you folks have a good day and enjoy them four rings 😊
  3. Hi there, quick hello and then hopefully a quick to answer question After lots of looking finally took the plunge and bought my Q7 3 weeks ago, what can I say.... Awesome, everything I expected and more. Having come from an A6 3.0 TDI Quattro I was pretty used to the engine and all the control but the feeling of the Q7 is so much more satisfying. Did plenty of research prior to purchase and looks like mine is pretty good. a 2008 3.0 240PS S-Line. Now onto the quick question. The other day I lowered the rear for loading and raised as normal but the dash disply now seems to be stuck on Suspension display and not the usual trip computer selection. It has basic red screen MMI and am wondering if I have pressed something in error recently... No warning lights or errors on startup just this annoying display showing I am in automatic mode. The air suspension still operates as it should just cant get the display off Any Ideas ?? Cheers for any help Poolcow.............
