Well I waited about 3 months for my car to be delivered from Germany. It was worth the wait. here are a couple of pictures.
I've opted for the the extended warranty and taken out a 4 year service plan. Apparently there is no running in period for the engine now and the first oil change isnt due until April 2023 which i find a rather long time for a car like this! Any comments on this?
having owned a few turbo charged cars in the past, as a rule of thumb I've changed the oil and filter every 6K miles as I found that the engine runs hotter and it tends to kill the oil quicker.
I've had the car for about 6 weeks and well impressed with the cars performance and surprisingly the economy if driven sensibly. are there any RS7 owners who have the the new model who can share experiences with me, i.e. any issues or advice on looking after the car. any comments would be most appreciated.
cheers

Hi everyone,
I'm waiting for delivery of my RS7 Vorsprung, its being built as I post this. can anyone give me an idea of a approximate delivery time from its build week? Audi hasn't been very helpful and been confusing with estimates of 6 weeks to 12 weeks delivery times! Are there any owners of this particular model can give me advice on how the car performs and what its like to live with? I've tried booking a test drive but there isn't one for sale in the South West of England

Hi,
My advice ( being a owner of a RS7 C8 ) is look at the service history. see if the oil screen problem has caused an issue. The amount of oil and filter changes its had! I've been a owner of quite a few turbocharged cars in the past and as a rule of thumb, changed the oil and filter every 5,000 miles after using a engine flush. By this method I've not experienced any problems to date over the past 25 years. poor servicing can contribute to Turbo and engine damage.
Try and avoid chipped ECU's or excessive engine mods. I think the C7 model has a performance spec done by Audi to over 600HP anyway. The RS7 is a fast car with impressive acceleration. remapping and modding if not done right can cause catastrophic engine and turbo damage.
I hope this little bit of advice will help you in deciding.
Kind regards,
Lloyd
