Hi Guitar man I have just repaired the same issue . The aerials are located in the boot lid itself . . take off the warning triangle and remove the 2 allen bolts . there is also a screw in the handle on the left of the boot lid . pull the trim off and you will see 2 aerials either side linked together with a black cable . On the left of the boot you will see where the cables come out of the body and enter the boot lid . with the radio on wiggle this cable and check if reception is affected. These cars are notorious for braking the cable inside the black rubber gaiter leading to the boot lid. hope this helps

Hi All , Im new here so apologies if this is in the wrong place. I have recently brought a 2005 A4 cabriolet 3ltr which has a problem. When i start it sometimes it appears to be in limp mode . if i switch off the engine and tap the selector and restart all is ok . Any of you guys any ideas please ?
