  1. Is the issue maybe with the start/stop? The only time that you are likely to go from 2nd to 1st is when you are coming to a complete stop. There normally is a judder type feeling when the engine is cut off by the system. I'm guessing you've had a car with start/stop before? Is you disable auto start/stop do you still get the judder? Besides that 2 mechatrtonic replacements and a clutch sounds like the dealer either knows more than they are letting on of they just don't know.
  2. No - channel 4 now. The owner of the Audi Bob Mortimer) is in the pic
  3. Originally on Dave but mainstream now...
  4. Here's one from a TV series
  5. So after a bit more experience it is definitely using engine braking - so it should be "economical" As an offshoot it also helps on cruise control when you are decelerating. Going from the 70mph (ish) setting to 50/55 for roadworks on the m6 (they're working overnight apparently) just by dropping the CC in 5 mph decrement it uses engine braking to get your speed down rapidly - for me it's a very useful feature 👍
  6. Have a look here. https://www.leasefetcher.co.uk/guides/car-technology/audi-tech-pack The B&O gear is mentioned in the sound and comfort pack. I have the tech pack in my 2018 Q5 and the audio is very good - although I'm not an audiophile. The biggest gain for me besides the VC is the nav +
  7. Yes it's really tricky to get the holder released and even putting it back in is tough because it's not obvious which way round it goes. If you have a 2019 model I guess you have 2 keys? The batteries seem to only last a couple of years. There is a trick for starting the car if the key battery is low or dead - place the back of the key on the centre console - it's in the manual under "starting the engine"
  8. It looks like you can try to push the broken bit back down? The top of the key will hold it in place worst case. I'm pretty sure that what you have broken is just the battery holder. You could buy a replacement "no brand" key and take the battery holder out - something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smart-Remote-Key-Shell-Case-Fob-3-Button-Audi-A4-A5-S4-S5-Q7-SQ7-2017-Up-/254849071437?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338268676&toolid=10044&customid=Cj0KCQjwh_eFBhDZARIsALHjIKd86zcJ9hKB97xpeqD720J1FW_rfAL5DlIW0LECe2SD69nj-gZRUJsaAoktEALw_wcB You could also Google audi A5 key fob battery holder.
  9. You might need to provide a bit more info... Have a look here https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/updating-maps-in-a6-satnav-2007.166918/ You can identify your unit and then work out what options you have to update which is covered here https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/13835-update-guide-mmi-2g-and-3g-download-links/ For this sort of stuff, once you know what you need then Google is your friend!
  10. If you check the tyres that you have (probably Dueller or Blizzak? ) and price them up, including checking their noise rating, efficiency and braking efficiency - the same tyre can be sold at various prices depending on these grades. Then look at Goodyear Eagle F1, Michelin cross climate or pilot and Pirelli Scorpion Verde. You'll have a good idea on suitable premium tyres. Kwik fit and black circles are both good starting points. You can then decide if you want to trim your budget and look at lower cost options * As Steve has said you should change in pairs or all 4 - most suppliers will give you a discount for 4. *different tyres can cause different sorts of road noise so often it ends up safer to get what you know. Having said all that - I currently have Falkens - same size as yours - that were fitted prior to me buying my 2018 Q5 and so far they have performed well on the noise and braking front 👍
  11. I think you have the RNS-E /navigation plus. Have look here to confirm https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_Navigation_Plus You can buy map DVDs from ebay or other resellers. Or if you have the ability, you can also burn your own DVD. The burning can be quite tricky - you need very specific discs and DVD writers. You can also get firmware updates. I've used similar methods on my previous VW RNS units. If you haven't got anything right now then you have nothing to lose 👍
  12. I think you can access the menus from the steering wheel - but it's worth a try 👍 Edit: looks like someone else has the same issue https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/18067-mmi-controls-not-working-two-blinking-red-lights/
