  1. I’ll be following this. The only thing I know is… they ain’t cheap.
  2. Absolutely agree with you Steve. It’s nuts. You could have a car on the flexible service plan getting new oil and filters every 18 to 24 months and it’ll be sold with a full history. Yet if the same car was put on fixed service plan it theoretically could have had more services, but been 6 months late on a couple and it wouldn’t have a full history.
  3. But you still get the oil service countdown ?
  4. For what it’s worth, I think the service schedule for newer Audis is a a complete joke. Try finding a print out or web page that tells you what is involved for each type of service. I’ll be sticking to 10k miles or 12 months. Two years between services… not on my watch it won’t.
  5. I dunno mate, my gut would say they’ll be the same, could be different between the B7, B8 & B9 though.
  6. The ones I bought in the thread above are out of stock, apart from the rear one being slightly smaller they were great quality. Maybe ask the fella Gary that started the threat where he got his.
  7. I got our 2.0 35tfsi remapped a couple of months ago. It’s like a different car. Not really looked at the mpg figures as it doesn’t do high mileage, but in terms of driving it’s just better all round. first time I’ve ever had a car mapped. They also did a gearbox map as well. Not sure if this is the norm or something that you pay extra for. I got it cheap because my mate runs a garage and it’s the guy they use, £240.
  8. That’s really nice with the white leather, but that’s some serious money. 30k Euro or £25.5k. That’s far too much. The dealer sold mine on two weeks after I traded it in for £22k and it only had 44k miles on it, 2 owners with a full Audi history and was a year younger.
  9. I had the Avant for two years and around 20k miles. Bought from a main dealer in 2021 with 25k on the clock. it was a 2018 though so might’ve been a facelift on the styling over the 2017. Easily the best all round car I’ve ever had. It’s big though, It feels big. It’s comfortable and it went really well during the winter. It was pretty economical and it never missed a beat. Apart from two services and a gearbox oil change I didn’t have to buy anything for it. My only complaint was the sat nav and media interface were absolutely crap. Prices are mental. Effectively I traded it in during April for more than I bought it for. Build quality is noticeably better over the 2019 A4 B9 S-line black edition 2.0 Petrol we have now. Absolutely brilliant family car. We had two kids under 2, so you can imagine the amount of !Removed! you need to haul for a weekend away. So why did we get rid? After we didn’t need the double buggy/ pram. The other half started complaining it was too big and she’s the one that drives it daily. Otherwise I’d still have it. As with most VW/Audi engines. EGR and especially DPF’s are going to be expensive if you’re only doing short journeys. Best of luck!
  10. Here’s a better photo, I removed the A4 and tfsi badges as well.
  11. Couldn’t find the rear one that was the same size, but you’d never know it’s any smaller, especially because it’s black.
  12. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194918858248?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2NYHlYfgRhq&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=77pVFK7jS8G&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I bought these ones, the front is prefect fit, but the rear is about 18mm smaller left to right, but you’d never notice.
  13. It’s got the rotary MMI control. 🙈
  14. Hi Sprint, We’ve only had it a month, but no issues. Being completely honest, I didn’t realise until after I’d bought it that it was hybrid. We sold our A6 C7 because it was too big but also because it was a diesel and in the two years we owned it, it did less than 9k miles. A recipe for dpf problems I think. Wonder if this battery is going to be the Achilles heel of the Petrol Audis. I’m pretty sure it’s a gen 5 mate, the grills low down on either side of the front have the Audi pre sense sensors mounted in them.
  15. Mine was manufactured jan 19, registered in Aug 19. It’s a mild hybrid.
  16. Just got a pair from eBay last week, but realised it’s the 273mm. My car’s a 2019. Fits perfect and arrived after about 3 days. I checked his shop but he doesn’t have the 250mm
  17. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10163516-0001.pdf Here’s the US one I found.
  18. Absolute joke isn’t it?
  19. I had a try with the search function, couldn’t find anything from Steve Q. Why are Audi making it like a trade secret? Quick search on Google and you get the USA service schedule for all models.
  20. Thanks Dave, From memory I think it might be different, but I’ll double check through the week when I can get the car undercover. We’ve got snow on the ground here.
  21. We do as well, there’s apparently a plug and play delete you can buy for the A4 B9 that basically just inverts the switch, so the default position is off. I think I’ll give one a try. Other than that it’s a vcds 1/2 delete that stops it working if the a/c is switched on as far as I know. Unfortunately, I don’t think either is possible with the A6 C7.
  22. I’d like to know what the offset is in terms of carbon released by the engine running versus the extra carbon released from producing the bigger battery required to power the system. Had to buy a battery for our C7 just before we sold it last week. !Removed! expensive. On a side note that is without doubt the best car I have ever owned. 2.0 tdi S line Quattro. The kids are a bit bigger now and we didn’t need the load space and it stuck out of parking spaces… apparently.
  23. Hi Dave, Do you happen to do these for a Skoda Superb 2012( our other car)? They suffer from the same issue. I’ve managed to repair mine a couple of times by splicing in a few lengths of the correct wires, but it’s just a bodge. Annoyingly the door loom has already been replaced as the part number showed it was the evolution part that was a bit longer, however the person that’s fitted it has pulled all the slack inside the door before securing the clips.
  24. Just as I thought above ami port and 12v socket only. The option code is 7T2 which just says :Navigation System (LOW). I’ll pick up one of the AMI leads. There’s a few different colours on the collars though, yellow seems to be the most common one.
