  1. I have an Audi I am looking to sell, I was going to scrap it for parts but I thought I would post on here as there may be someone with the time and money to put into it. 2003 Audi A4 sport 3.0 V6, grey colour. Two keys. I believe the car may have a blown head gasket, not been diagnosed. It still starts and drives well. Still in MOT. I didn’t want to get rid of it but I’m not very mechanical minded so I thought I had better move on because I don’t have the time, money or skill to give it the attention it deserves. I have been quoted £280 to scrap it but I would prefer it goes to someone who would appreciate it so willing to take a bit less.
  2. Fair enough! Didn’t see that part 🙂
  3. So I had a limp mode problem with my 2003 A4, after many garages and mechanics looking at it I’ve been told to get everything from a transmission fluid change to a new gearbox, however I decided to do some research on my own and I found that it was likely a component called a transmission range sensor that was putting it in limp mode. I found an after market one and had it fitted, that was about a year ago and it hasn’t gone into limp mode since. hope this is some help.
