Driving in wet weather / over puddles
Hiya, I have an a6 with 20inch wheels with tyres with 5-6 mm and it does the same, really pulls when going through puddles. I just put it down to wider tyres than my last car.

Adblue issue
I've done 8k in mine siince I bought it and have had to put 30litres in it. Every time I have filled it up I have just filled it up until no more goes in. I would have thought if it's critical not to over fill it there would be a mechanism to stop it. Never read the manual on it though 🤣

SQ5 adblue fault
Have you driven it for a while yet? Think it takes a bit of driving for it to go off?

Audi cam chain
It's an engine out job to change, with the costs that come with that. When I had mine done it was a guide which had broken, horrible clattering noise when the engine was under load but only for the first minute or so when starting the car from cold, also couldn't bear it with the windows up. My chain had stretched as well but I believe it throws up a timing error if it stretches beyond a certain amount which mine hadnt. Change the oil every 10k not 18 supposedly helps the lifespan of them. There is no recommended mileage to change the chain/guides, it's not the same as a timing belt in that respect.

Treat rust on small stone chip
Thanks for the replies chaps. The car is a 2015 a6 in florett silver. Not sure how long it's been there but I guess a while. I'll get some rust treatment stuff and keep ane eye on it. Thanks for the tip on the clear coat 👍👍

Treat rust on small stone chip
Hi, I've got a small chip on the leading edge of the roof above the windscreen, it's a mm or so but it's gone rusty. How best to sort the rust before painting? Should I be using a rust eater or stabiliser on it first? If so what do people recommend?

A6 Allroad 2013 Air Suspension and scary start-up.
Ah cool, glad you got it sorted. I know the tick box you mentioned, but I've never done it, logical that the car wouldn't go so low when towing.

A6 Allroad 2013 Air Suspension and scary start-up.
Just to muddy the waters on this, I've just driven in my 2015 allroad in town traffic and dynamic mode drops to one bar, I've swapped back and forth a few times and it always goes to one bar.

New Owner - Questions regarding MMi
Yep, bigger screen, I forget the size difference. A simple way to tell is do you have buttons or a touch pad next to the gear stick? Touc pad = tech pack

New Owner - Questions regarding MMi
Hiya, I would hold out for a car with the tech pack, you'll get a better screen amongst other things. I'm not sure about answering your question for a non tech pack car but for the tech pack it has a hard drive you can import from SD card, USB or cd. You can play direct from those too. Ps from 2015 there was a facelift which has a better display in the clocks amongst a few other bits. Check out black editions as they look the nicest IMHO, I ended up with a 2015 allroad as they were a tad cheaper than the black editions so I could get a facelift. Yes you can send an address to the car from the app I'd have loved a bitdi but couldn't afford one, the others might feel slow compared to your current car

20" wheels on a A6 C8 sport
If you have an sline I'm sure 20" rims will look fine on it, they were an oe option, you will find the tyre size on the sticker on the car.

A6 Allroad front wheel bearing
HI pretty sure that wheel bearings are known to not last that long on the a6, Couldn't help with a cost though, mine haven't gone yet.

Fuel cap
https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/195291-Audi-a6-C7-fuel-lid-stuck There's one thread on it with a video, iirc a plastic ruler can be used to pry it open.

Fuel cap
It's a known common problem, have a search on the net you will find some videos or forum posts on it. From memory you will need to replace the plastic inner part, as the solenoid? packs in and its fixed to plastic but. it's not that expensive and looks like a doable diy job. To get in at the moment you could try pressing the cap as you unlock the car if that doesn't work then prying it open is the way, obviously being careful with the paint work. If you can't find a link I'll have a look when I get home later.

Advice on Audi Q8 Tyres - 285/40R22 110Y
I can't help with a price but audi told me mine needed changing and they had 2.9 mm, I didn't take them up on the offer and they are still legal 3months later.
