Hi I have an Audi A6 Avant 2.7 Quattro, 138k miles on clock, serviced by Audi. Gearbox developed limp mode issues on acceleration, audi say New Gearbox required , and with it new Mortgage! Fault Stored is PO783 3rd - 4th shift fault, audi say sealed unit cant be repaired! Anyone any experience ? Can it be repaired by third party?
