  1. Thanks Steve, did you pay to get yours fixed before you sold it? I've just the quote in from the garage, £3620!! Is that normal for P2002 and P20E8 fault codes??
  2. Cheers mate, did you have any issues when selling with it technically not being road legal now? Did you declare it before selling? I'm most worry about resale value of the car. I've not modified the car in any way, no re-mapping or performance enhancements. I just use it to get from A - B and want it to be in good condition, but it is a decent car probs worth about 11k so I'm most worried I'll be ruining it. If that makes sense
  3. Hi all, I just got my car back from the garage as engine light was on and got fault codes P2002 & P20E8. Technician notes say, after further test, they think the EGR cooler is likely blocked and Ad Blue pump has failed as no signs its engaging when initiated. As I drove away the DPF 650miles light came on, which wasn't on before. Not sure why. Anyway, they're putting a quote together but the lad on reception reckons at least £2500, which I don't have right now. I'm looking into other options and notice a lot of people online seem to overwhelmingly steer towards a delete and gut the DPF which they all seem to say saves a ton of money, makes the car run better, is way more fuel efficient with no issues at MOT (if certain parts left in) and no warnings on the dash. After reading I see this technically makes the car not road legal. My concern is I really don't want to devalue the car. It's the best car I ever owned, has pretty much all the added packs including tech pack, Virtual Cockpit, Bose Sound System, upgraded suspension amongst others. The mileage is only 75k and according to AutoTrader is worth about 11k. If I delete the EGR, DPF and AdBlue am I risking never being able to sell the car again? Is there any other option than paying £2.5k or deleting? I've seen someone online say you can try an exhaust system flush and cleaning service. Has anyone tried this and it fixed the fault codes? I'm not daft but I'm also definitely not mechanically minded so please be kind ha. It's worth noting that I have never modified the car in anyway, no re mapping or anything. I just use it to get from A - B and want it to be in the best condition possible. A4 2.0 TDI 190 S Line 66 plate Cheers
  4. Hi Steve, Do you have anymore info about the cleaning service to clean out the exhaust system? Do you know anyone where this has worked before? I've got the P2002 and P20E8 codes today sadly and can't beleive the repair cost.
  5. Hi mate, where did you get this done? Is it still going OK?
  6. Hi mate. Where did you this done?
  7. Hi, what did you decide in the end?
  8. Evening all, I have an Audi A4 (66 plate) S-Line withb Technology pack inc virtual cockpit. On my way home from work the maps wouldn't show on the virtual cockpit but they would on the centre console display. The virtual cockpit still shows speedos, gears, radio, etc but the centre (where the maps would be) is all blank. Does anyone know why this would be? I've had the car about a year now. Do I have to purchase some sort of Audi Connect package to get maps on my virtual cockpit display? I noticed the weather, news, petrol prices, etc have all disappeared from the Audi Connect app too. I'm gona be extremely disappointed if I subscribe to get maps on the virtual cockpit!!
  9. I'm sure when I bought the car the dealer said this vehicle had been on some sort of flexible service plan meaning it wasnt serviced annually but more like 20k miles. He did show me some paperwork and stuff which validated that this was an actual thing, but I cant find much about it now. I think Audi have changed their plans in the last year so its not showing, but I was under the impression I wouldnt need to service it for a while. I think I have done about 7k miles since I bought it in March 2021. I am a bit confused about these independent Audi Garages, is it best that they be affiliated with Audi in some way? My normal mechanic recommended VAG Bolton to me, but it doesn't appear that they are affiliated with Audi so not sure what to do.
  10. Haha nice one Davy. I'm based near Manchester so must be one. Just having a google now it's like a minefield trying to figure out who's a legitimate Audi approved specialist ha. Nice one 👍
  11. Thanks Davy, Is it just a case of googling independent Audi garages or is there one website which shows them all? Cheers
  12. Afternoon all, I bought my 1st Audi in March 2021 and the dealer said they would service it for me. 1 year on and the oil change light is on. Is that normal? Also, how much should I reasonable expect an Audi dealer to charge for an oil change? Thanks
