Thanks for the reply, and nice to be here :-) Haven't done that no, but could be worth a try. Might pop into Audi and see if they have any suggestions too. Certainly a tad strange.

Hi all, recently purchased an A4 Avant 2010 and found what appears to be a non standard black box wired in the boot behind the 12v socket. Attached a couple pictures. It's hanging loose, and has 4 wires running into it. Anyone have any ideas what this might be? Cheers
