  1. Please can somebody help the wing mirrors have both stopped working meaning I cannot adjust them or heat them. I was wondering if somebody knew where the fuse is were located. Thanks in advance Jaime
  2. When I changed my sensor all warnings lights went out, I’d definitely investigate why you still have an engine management light.
  3. I replaced both battery and alternator last year, both still under warranty. I will have to pop it in to get them to check. thanks Jaime
  4. 71724446795__EEF51551-CA54-4478-9460-A0EF21C68380.MOV Hi, I started my car up this morning and noticed my air con turned itself to OFF, I tried to turn it back on but the I’m unable to select any other settings. as anyone come across this before. thanks in advance Jaime
  5. Hi Garath, I use Audi or my local specialist both fit main dealership parts hence the price. The big difference is labour cost my local specialist hourly rate is £60. These guys are Audi trained in all makes and models. I have been told the battery cells were damaged and not charging also my dash board had the yellow battery light on. I have asked why the alternator was not apparently checked and they said everything indicated the battery was the problem. It would have saved me a £80 tow fee less then 24hrs after replacing the battery. Jaime
  6. Sorry for the delay in updating this post, I had the battery replaced but unfortunately it was the Alternator that had died. The new battery lasted one day ended up getting the car towed back in to mu Local Audi specialist. I only use main dealership parts so you can imagine this wasn’t cheap job battery £200 + vat Alternator £657 + vat Surprisingly now the car is driving smoother I’m not sure if that’s because I didn’t drive the car for roughly a week. It’s just great to have the Audi back up and running.
  7. The weather is changing and it’s s getting cooler here in the UK and I have started getting the following message, Start / Stop system fault. Function unavailable. Please contact workshop. with a yellow battery sign. I believe it’s a battery due to it just turning 5 years old. Im going to ring round on Monday for the best prices, what’s the cost of a battery change? due to it needing programming how simple is it for the owner to do?
  8. Thanks for the detailed response, you are correct the passenger side is working fine. It definitely sounds like it needs investigating I was hoping they were separately fused and it was a simple fuse replacement. Jaime
  9. Cold and wet morning so switched my heated mirrors on and my drivers side didn’t de mist, any ideas before winter weather starts.
  10. sorry the quote was for Cambelt Kit which includes the water pump.
  11. Snap, I am currently recovering from an operation and thought it would be quick job and costing around £100 how wrong was I 😂 they have just quoted £550 for Cambelt change no sure if that’s a good price ?
  12. The specialist source the part from the main dealer hence the price, I did try and look on eBay out of Curiosity but couldn’t find one.
  13. Hi Guys I had my car in to Audi Specialist centre near me yesterday and had my flap replaced and basic setting applied for it to function correctly. The replacement part number was 4mo820511a. The actual cost was £250 + vat.
  14. I couldn’t believe have simple it was to fit only took a couple of minutes.
