My battery is on charge 24/7 as I only use the car once a week to go to Asda, haha. New 110Ah battery 12 months ago. I am surprised that no one on here has ever unplugged their parking brake (EPB) What's UDS ?

I have been looking at this video and there is no mention of recoding and adaptation.

My wheels never get dirty enough to have to use that stuff, thanks for the tip anyway. I don't like pressure washers either.
  4. This link works - https://www.auto-brochures.com/audi.html
  5. Quite a few options on this video.
  6. It don't work for me.

I agree with you about looking OK, but I have to do it about four times a year to keep it looking like that or the rust comes back. I'm hoping that new, rust free calipers painted will just require a wash when the wheels are done.
  8. Years ago, In my usual way, I tried to remove the service due display with my vag-com and cocked it up, now neither I or Audi can remove it. To this day it says service due every time I switch on. What ever I did also stopped me from coding my new battery. That was over a year ago and I have had no issues with my new battery.
  9. Not a very clear video, but hear you go.

I have been using stove blacking on them for years and it's a bugger to get rid of. That's why I had new calipers for the front. Here's a photo of my old front calipers with stove blacking on them.

Nothing wrong with the calipers that are on there, I just want new calipers so that I can paint them. (the car has only done 42k) So you are saying, OK to remove the new servos from the new calipers, paint the calipers then fit the old servos without unplugging them and screw them to the new calipers. This is one of the new front calipers that I have painted.
  12. Ask if the belt has been changed, the trans fluid should be changed every 38k. I change the engine oil every 3k because I only do short journeys.

I am not very good at coding. Just a thought, If I get new calipers and fit my actuators to them, then they won't need coding. Am I correct ?
  14. My fog lights always give me a warning, one after the other. If I turn them on the warning goes away. I know what the cause is and I could fit resistors to cure it, but it don't bother me that much. It's because I fitted LED's. You may have a power drop on the light that's causing it. Try fitting a separate ground wire to that light.
  15. Check you CV joints.

    Thanks Steve.
  17. Is this any help ?
  18. If you fit new EPB rear brake calipers, do you have to program them or are they plug and play ? I have a vag com for opening and closing.
  19. Put a new ground wire from that head light. A lot of problems can be traced back to poor grounds.
  20. I suppose that you have already checked out the videos on youtube.
  21. Oh well, worth a go.
  22. Make sure that the groove separating the center and the outer ring on the sensors is clean. Every time that I wax my car I get a stiff tooth brush and brush the sensors.
  23. My old battery looked brand new as well, but it was thirteen years old (original battery) I was having trouble with doors not locking or unlocking, got a new battery and all is fine now. 😀
  24. Managed to get the door mirror for £80. but I only wanted the cover and the indicator strip off it. The rest was no good as it wasn't a folding one.
  25. It was bin collection day and someone had put their bin overhanging the kurb, My left side mirror smashed into the bin doing quite a lot of damage. I priced the new parts up to repair it, Pheeew 😬 Glass, cover and indicator strip was going to cost £906 new. It was £240 just for the glass. I managed to get the parts off ebay (used) got the glass for £120 used. I will be looking out for bins in future. 👀
