  1. I am greatly appreciated of the advice. I am merely saying that the book said .5ltr per 1000km. I have done more miles with an approximate, .4ltr oil usage. Therefore I assume less oil usage. But my question still remains is it normal or should I be concerned or is this something that happens when driving a new car. Thanks for you help. It’s appreciated.
  2. 3ltr V6 TDI.
  3. Hi thanks for the reply. The 3lr V6 TDI engines in the S4 does not have a dipstick it’s all digital on the MMI. You have to warm the engine then leave it for 5 minutes for the oil to drain back into the sump. Then take an on screen reading. the manual states oil usage of up to 0.5ltr per 1000km. So therefore my usage is less than the manual says.
  4. Hi All, I have a new 2022 UK spec S4 (tdi engine) with 2880 miles on it from new. Over time during the run in I noticed from about 1500 miles on the MMI engine oil dipstick going down. The manual suggests that this is normal during the first 5000miles. I just topped it up and it took 400ml of oil. is this normal or should I be concerned. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi All, I am a newbie to Audi and this forum/owners club. I am a proud owner of a 2022 S4 Avant. Regards Vern
  6. Morning All, I have a new 2022 S4 Avant which I was took delivery of on 3 May 22 with 10 delivery miles on the clock. I have now since then put 900 miles on it and the Stop-start has not worked once. There is no faults or warnings the system is just not available. It went back to Audi because the battery was only charged at 80% which also prevents the system working. However I have been contacted by Audi saying my car left the factory without the soft ware for the SS system and an update needs to be done. Which it’s going in for on 13 Jun 22. Surely by putting the 10 miles on the car they should have noticed that the SS was not working? anybody else have issues with the SS on their S4. Note: my car was built the first quarter of March 22 and arrived in the UK just before Easter.
