Hi all. Just a quick query here (see attached pic). Fault codes coming up for the radiator fan on my 2009 2.0 TDI.
P95000 difficulty of movement
P069100 Control circuit low
I've checked the physical movement of the fan with my finger and the power off (single electric fan unit with a PCM) and the fan spins fine. I thought the bonnet latch cable may have been catching the slats as the retaining clip above the fan is burst, so I've secured it back out of the way just in case.
As for the control circuit error, I'm of the understanding that's a low/no voltage? The car isn't over heating, its never overheated. I'd recently put a new thermostat in it as that was sticking. Actually drove it 650 miles on a warm day and it was as good as gold. No dash warning lights. No steam. Temp gauge was rock solid. Had I not plugged the scanner in I'd have never known there was even an issue. 🤷♂️
I haven't checked the fuse yet as I'm away at work for another week so that'll be something else to inspect when I go on leave. Just looking for any other suggestions on the subject, short of a new fan that is, should it not be a fuse. Cheers.
