Hi guys, just a quick update for those following.. finally found a solution.. one of my injectors was the issue, bought all 4 repaired , and car runs like a brand new.. no more shaking and gear knob is not going crazy anymore 🤣

My mechanic said that he need a car available for 3 days and he plans to deassemble all transmission parts.. he suspects it is either flywheel or differential mounts(lagers).. i will let him do that next month..

And btw, pulley is alwmost brand new, swapped when i did large service, it defo not a pulley..

For everyone following, swaped all my engine mounts, everything still the same.. i think i will go with a flywheel.. if that doesnt sort things out, i give up lol

Not the engine mounts, everything still the same..only thing not changed is the flywheel..

For the guys following, my right engine mount is now totally destroyed, i will have it replaced in couple of days.. if that sorts thing out , i will let you guys know!

Our vibration is throttle related it has nothing to do with struts. thank you for the reply!

Thank you steve, i have oil and filter change next week so will change balancer too.. i will post back here if that solved the issue, maybe it will be useful to someone!

Thank you for the reply? How can i test if it is really crankshaft pulley, and is that problem something common in 2.0TDI?

Hello guys, I know there is a very slim chance of finding the root cause of this shaking on forum, but maybe someone managed to solve this issue. First of all, car is super reliable ,extremly well maintained and I'm super happy with it. But this is starting to really frustrate me. I have been to two really proffesional vag specialists and they couldnt find anything. Car is currently on 200003km, shaking started at around 170000km.. shaking comes only when accelarating, it goes through the car, and is stronger when you accelerate from low rpms.. shaking is also stronger in higher gear(accelerating in6th gear from low rpm is strongest, gear lever goes crazy) So far changed inner and outer cvs, both driveshafts(all original parts), engine mounts , and my flywheel and clutch are in very good condition(there is absolutly no sound whatsoever).. there in no misfire, i even had.my gearbox opened and all joints look factory new.. i have a feeling this is something bizzare , and yet i cant figure out what it is..

Hi guys, have the exact same problem. Shaking is stronger when accelerating from low rpm, and stronger in higher gear(6th gear=worst shaking). Engine is 2.0. TDI, 105kw, A4 B8.5 Avant, s-line. So far changed engine mounts, both driveshafts, inner and outer cv joints, even opened a gearbox which looks as if left the factory yesterday, and in perfect condition. My clutch and flywheel make no sound and are in perfect state whatsoever. There are no error codes, even checked the injectors, there is no misfire ( at least when idle). Dont know what to do, car is perfect, 200 000km with no problem, never let me down.. I even learned hot to drive so it doesnt happen often..
