  1. Hi everyone, Wondering anyone fitted one of the Android 13 Snapdragon 665 8GB 128GB 9" Screen Head Unit? Whats your feedbacks on the install and using these over the long term? I have an RMC system and really hate it, so tempted to go with the new overall Head Unit upgrade mentioned above, but have heard anyone's feedbacks on the forums on these systems. Thanks in advance! David
  2. Well how did you fair out in the end? All sorted now?
  3. Hi Tigger, Just curious about your Superchips, are you not concerned about your S Tronic box? I thought these boxes where already under max torque allowance and anything further would damage them, no? I too am getting terrible MPG, so if I could improve that I would happily, but just don't want to risk gearbox damage/excessive wear which in long run cost more than the MPG savings. Thanks.
  4. Hi, Selling my 20mm spacers, wanted to try out a more stance look on my A6. But just not for me. So they have been on the car all of 5mins to trial them, so practically still new and back in their box. Cost me £55, will accept £35 plus £5 postage - or if local can collect. Thanks
  5. Haven’t even tried main dealer yet, was waiting to see feedbacks etc on here. Will be pricing them tomorrow.
  6. Looking to get front and rear mudflaps to fit my C7.5 S Line Black Edition Avant. Anyone any links or even a set for sale? Thanks
  7. Sadly my car has the basic nav set up with the smaller screen. Ideally would love to upgrade the wider screen, but the system is quite costly and requires a lot of changes i.e. new screen, processor, dash trim around gearstick and speed dials/display. Seen on a guys Insta he installs the android systems… anyone done this? What’s your feedbacks? Just love the look of the wider screen and apple car play. Thanks
  8. I was in the same boat, and I have slightly less miles than that. Someone said the tensioners are the weak points. But once done you know your good for another 60k at least sure. Well that’s the way I try to positively look at it lol Def the right idea on the coolant leak part, get all done together
  9. Yeah say it will need chain and tensioner going from my experience. Mines cost considerably more than £3K 🙈 Hope you get sorted - at least peace of mind
  10. If its any consolation I had the same "Intermittent" (or as the diagnostics called it: "Sporadic"): 21583 P191A00 Loss of Crankshaft Synchronization (01101000 Passive/Sporadic) and I had a slight clicking/tapping sound that could only be heard at very low speeds, and but sped up and slowed down with the revs. This resulted in me have the engine removed and diagnostics carried out, which found a faulty tensioner, a broken guide and a stretched chain. Mechanic said I had some ear on me to pick up the sound as it was extremely hard to hear, and I caught everything in great time. Needless to say she got the works (All new chains, new tensioners, new guides, new gears, oil seals, turbo gaskets, exhaust gaskets, exhaust valve inlet, head was skimmed with new valves, head gaskets, head bolts, injectors tested, injectors seals and O rings, injector bolts, rocker cover seals, hydraulic lifters, valve stem oil seals), along with a new coolant set up in the V to resolve the common leak. Would most certainly have it checked by an Audi Indep. Specialist.
  11. You ok to pick up the conversation in private message?
  12. Hi, sent you a message on this - still available? As I would be extremely interested in taking this please.
  13. Hi Steve, Thanks. I've only covered around 350 miles (1 week) since having the work done, so appreciate still early days - hoping it settles. Was a tiny bit of blue smoke under throttle the first day or two, but that seems to have settled. Have planned to drive real easy for the first 1200 miles, to break it in... not sure if this is necessary... In my head I'm thinking a good spritely drive could resolve it rightly, but reluctant to do as explained. Wondering is it worth having a oil change done at 1200 miles mark also. In relation to why the cooler was changed, absolutely no idea - just went on the advice/guidance/trust of the mechanic and all these parts got changed (some where a preventative move since was already stripped down). Also got a new water pump - realised I didn't mention that above.
  14. Hi all, Hoping you can help, just got car back from a major load of work and noticed a rich fume smell when I get out of the car after parking etc. Car is an A6 Avant C7 3.0 TDI CRTD 272. Work just completed (all Genuine parts): 1. Coolant Leak in the V - all coolant parts replaced - EGR Cooler, EGR Seals, Oil Seal Gasket, Valve Cooler, Water Housing, O Rings, Water Rings, Intake O Rings, Oil Cooler and gaskets etc. 2. Timing Chain (tensioner and guide broken) - All new chains, new tensioners, new guides, new gears, oil seals, turbo gaskets, exhaust gaskets, exhaust valve inlet, head was skimmed with new valves, head gaskets, head bolts, injectors tested, injectors seals and O rings, injector bolts, rocker cover seals, hydraulic lifters, valve stem oil seals. Before the car went in there was large amount of blue smoke on cold start that lasted 5secs and then came clear. Any ideas? Could just be her bedding in and will come fine? Car was off the road for quite a while and just glad to have her back! Thanks in advance for your advice
