I most do town driving so mileage isn't great 25-30mpg on short journeys.
I went to London and back and on a round trip and I managed 50mpg + 😲. I was quite shocked when i checked my short journeys on the trip computer when I got home. It was a mixture of motorway and town driving but didn't expect 50+ mpg from a 190bhp 2.0 engine sitting at 65-70mph on the motorway with AC on auto.
Thought I'd share some good news for fellow petrol heads of similar engine. 🙂
Anyone else managed to eek out more then 52.3mpg to b exact from their 2.0T TFSI engine 190bhp?
Thought I'd update here, the mechanic has fixed the issue, replaced the quick acting coupling properly, greased the ends, new coolant and bleed too. Didn't have to replace radiator. All sorted no more leak and temp staying at 90c on dash 😊.
Just to confirm, i took some more picture of the clip from the radiator side and this clip can't be undone and replace right, it still has to be the whole radiator?
Ahhh right okay this makes sense. Thanks for taking a picture as well, I see what you mean. Both sides have clips but one is from the radiator which is the one that's broken and can only be replaced by replacing the radiator itself. 👍🏽
At least I can speak to my garage with some knowledge now. Thank you once again buddy. Let's see what they say next week. 👍🏽
What do you mean outlet clip?
Thanks, I'll have to get it towed to the garage as it's not fit for driving with no coolant going to radiator! Really don't understand how it could snap like that ugh.
Just to confirm it will be the radiator / clip itself not just the clip that has to be replaced? I'm just asking more for me to understand the issue but will be getting it towed to a garage for them to diagnose the issue.
Hi all,
Audi A4 2.0T TFSI B9 2017 facelift -
Lost coolant few days ago, topped it up and last night heard my fans going crazy and temps showing 130c.
Filled up again and checked engine bay and noticed the leak here. Any thoughts on the parts that may be involved and how to fix it? Is it a wider issue or just the hose needs replacing?
Is it safe for me to drive this to a garage 20 min drive/15miles ?
I've attached some photos and a video.

Thank goodness I have this thread! I felt the brakes doing the clicky bit when pressed firmly and the brake servo error appeared. I turned car off and back on again and it disappeared. The next few days I was out driving and the error came back on. I parked car up and haven't driven it since. Ordered the part off eBay and just fitted the new sensor now. Error has disappeared. Thank you guys, this was a life saver. Hopefully caught it before ABS went to !Removed!!

I ordered the sensor off eBay £14.99 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor 5Q0906207 5Q0906207A👍🏽
I took my car down to my mechanic this morning as he was replacing my heated wing mirrors as they had failed and I asked him if he could take a look at my driver side heated seat backrest not heating up and he basically cleaned the connections under the drivers seat and plugged them back in, reset the fault code and now I finally have heated backrest again whoop!!!! So happy haha.
drivers side back rest wasn't heating up this morning but yet bottom part of seat was heated up nicely?! I tested passenger side and the whole seat works fine only the drivers side back rest that isn't working?
Any ideas?
Mine is a 2017 A4
From Carista App fault code-
Central electronics:
65685 - Heated seat backrest; front right - open or short to plus
I think 50mpg for Diesel doing 70mph isn't too bad tbh. I had a 1.4TFSI Seat Leon and that managed 55mpg+ at 60mph on the motorways but sooooooo slow and smaller haha.
I saw this option on Carista app to enable lane assist but i'm a bit hesitant myself as i also don't have the correct stalk with lane assist button. Not sure if it's worth the risk when i actually would want it off. Not worth the risk imo.
