Scanned. 1 fault code for my MMI as i have some crap apple car play retro fitted ( dont do it people ) new icon shows it charging and also somehow my stop and start worked within 2 miles. never had that before. im am still trying to get my stop and start back to normal as someone reversed it

  3. So for some reason my OBD 11 wants the charge me to go into the settings for the battery. When I last week went into the app the battery was completely red and said unknown today it is green and telling me is charging. I will have to see if I can list the battery another way

  6. hi all so the battery in the car is dead. i guess as a 11 min drive to work each day and not getting much of a charge i was told when you change a battery on a s1, you need to via OBD put in a serial or something for the BMS? so it knows a diff battery is in the car true? anyone done as a i have a obd11 app and reader.
  7. How did you get the keyless start? As was told cant be done on the s1

  20. Hi steve, Thanks for the post i just dont get to enjoy the car, as I work 630am to 5pm monday to friday. I have some more pics I`ll add this week. The car is going to be picked up in a few hours for its MOT. I want to sell the car to put some money in the bank for some DIY on my flat. Being i only work 4 miles from work, i may get just a cheaper car to get me A to B I thought i would post here first as people should be looking on clubs for better cars before I post on other sites.
  21. FOR SALE after friday as MOT tomorrow Year: 2015 Mileage: 103,000 Engine/Drive: 2.0 TFSI Quattro (4WD) Tune: Stage 1 Remap ~300bhp Location: sussex Price: £11,500 ONO The mileage bit (before anyone panics) Yes, it’s on 103k, and I know people will look at that first — but it’s worth putting into context: The car did around 66k in its first 3 years Then only around 40k across the last 11 years I bought it in March 2023 and I’ve added roughly 6k in my ownership So it’s not been hammered recently — it’s been used lightly and kept right. Servicing & maintenance (timing chain cared for properly) I’ve serviced the car every year since owning it to keep everything healthy, even when it’s only done about 1,500 miles a year. I’ve done this specifically to keep on top of the timing chain health and general reliability. Recent work includes: 100k major service completed (last year) including: Quattro / 4WD check Oil change Brake fluid removed & replaced November (last year): 2 new wishbones fitted (bushes were starting to go) Another oil change Rear brake discs & pads replaced a few months ago This isn’t a “mapped and forgotten” car — it’s been looked after properly. Exterior / styling Wrapped + wheels refurbished around 4 months ago The wrap combo makes it stand out massively — genuinely could be the only S1 in the UK with this exact look Legal blue tint on the main windscreen (nice touch without being OTT) Spec & extras This S1 has a really strong spec and a bunch of tasteful upgrades: Sat Nav (maps updated to the latest available for this model) Heated seats Cruise control BOSE sound system Folding mirrors on lock/unlock (rare on S1s — I’ve not seen another with it) Arm rest added (not standard) Rear USB ports added to the back of the arm rest Rear seat cup holders (surprisingly rare — I’ve not seen it on other S1s) Front + rear dash cam Hidden storage under passenger side (handy and discreet) Apple CarPlay / Android Auto module via the Nav button Included and working — I personally didn’t use it much (found it a bit fiddly), but it’s there if you want it How it drives With the Stage 1 300bhp map plus Quattro, it’s properly quick and planted — the kind of car that feels special every time you drive it. It’s also the perfect all-weather hot hatch. Honest summary If you want a standard, stock S1 — this isn’t it. If you want a well-maintained, properly looked-after, high-spec, rare-looking S1 with a serious power upgrade and loads of extras, you’ll struggle to find another like it. Any inspection welcome. Genuine buyers only. Message me for more photos / details.
