Can I code a non AGM battery to my stop start A3?

AGM battery has to be charged by driving at least half an hour every day. This is what the AA told me when I called them out after cutting out. A1 was not used while I was away on holiday, Was also told that the start go should not be used in city traffic as this affects the charging. -
Hi My Audi specialist has cocked up two major issues in the last year and the service is shoddy. I have asked them already spoke to them , they don't have the part in stock. So I have decided to go elsewhere.

Hello . Has anyone with an A1 2013 1,6.Sportsback had to order an new alternator. Have a choice of 3 that would fit but told if I had a part number (Couldn't see it) it would be preferable to have that. Thanks.
