Lol...I have kids and rather them use a holder than balancing on their laps on long journeys..but appreciate not allowing it. I didn't in my A6 for about a year then it phased out.

Hi all. I have just recently purchased my first A5 ssportback 2018 Petrol S-Line and want to retro fit rear cupholders in the rear armrest. My previous A6 didn't have these either and don't know why It can't be standard on all cars. Has anyone done this and where did they buy the part from as I'm not having much like searching for it.

This is where i am confused as I read that all A5's from late 17 have it. How can I tell from pics if the car has the tech pack? Is it the bit between the instrument cluster where the standard is the square/rectangle digital but, whereas tech packs have the wider shape that is not square/rectangle?

Hi all, I'm interested in a 2019 Audi A5 but want to know if it has android auto before purchasing. I found a place before where specific vin codes tells you what to look for in order to see if a specific car has it or not but can no longer find the information anywhere. Can anyone help what and where on a vin indicates if it has android auto?

Great! Thank you..on my 2014 C7 I have tech pack but don't tend use the car sat nav much as prefer Waze so my debate was whether to go for 1 of 2 cars I like. Both 2018 back edition petrol but lower miles without tech pack or higher miles with tech pack..similarly priced.

Hi. I currently own a c7 diesel but dont do miles to justify having a diesel as I had egr issues last year which i got fixed. Looking at petrol black edition 2018 C8 I have seen. I have tech pack on my c7 with a small sat nav map on my instrument cluster in the middle of the static speedo. The c8 black edition I have seen doesn't have this and has the rectangler screen meaning no sat nav. The c8 however I assume has Android auto so I have a few questions please if anyone can help. 1) On tech pack models, does the sat nav off Android auto show in the instrument cluster ? 2) Is it worth paying extra for techpack on c8?

Thats what im considering doing. The good about the place my friend has used is they will charge a mere £30 to put my original map back on the car if i want to reverse it when it came to selling as they store the original map. Im looking into egr blanking as well but not sure who can do it for me local to me in Leicester.

Yep had all that done last week as always have MOT and Service done at same time and this time around was a full service anyway. Would you recommend one over of the other? And do they do the same thing?

Hi, sorry. 2014, diesel, 75k miles. Always used premium diesel. My driving is mostly local but in 2 weeks i start a new job where i have to travel 100 miles for 1 day a week which i hope helps. I also planned to sell the car anyway just after christmas once i renewed my mortgage anyway so the timing of everything isnt great but dont want to fork out £1600 before i sell it. Luckily so far its been 2 weeks since the light has been off.

Hi, im new and just accross thus thread. I got a similar dilemna. Engine light came on for 1.5 days then switched. I then coincidently had my MOT week later where it was still off thank god. Passed no issues but he mentioned a fault code suggesting egr cooler issue and after running egr test where they measured air in flow etc confirmed pretty much that issue. He said though as my engine light is off its not an issue till its consistently on. Quoted me £1600 for strip, replace and put back together and this is an Audi specialist. So read about the remap/egr delete. What's the cons of this?

Anyone had this done and their experience of putting MOT for emmisions? Or Any other issues? I own a 2014 C7, 2.0 Diesel Ultra Edition with 75k on the clock.
