  2. Cheers guys.
  3. Hi all. Question ?. Headlight washer pipe has a leak at the the junction. It's a bumper off job to get to the coupling. If I pull the fuse for the Headlight washer pump will it continue to leak or am I gonna have to change the coupling. Thanks Grant.
  4. Hi. Thought I'd put an update incase anyone has this problem in the future. It is a absolute nightmare but it works so just bare with it. So come up from the bottom with a rod with a 90° on either end 30mm on one end and 100mm or more on the other this is just a handle to twist the bar. A inspection camera with a light is a must or your just fishing in the dark. I taped my to a extend magnet. So I could get a decent view and let go. It's very fiddle and and stressful and annoying but so you want to there the bar up and using the camera get the short hook in the lower catch and twist the bar counter clock wise to release the bonnet. Took manny attempts as it pops out drop it ect it all so takes alot more pressure than I thought it would but it works so just keep on and bear with it. Hope the photos help make more sense of it all. 20231117_120645.heic 20231117_120632.heic
  5. Hi all So I was changing the serpentine belt and managed to nock the bonnet release cable out the latch. I checked the leaver in the foot well and that's all good. The option iv come across most is to come up from under the car with a rod with a angle on and pop it in latch and twist. Has anyone come across this problem before or even tried sed method them self's any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Grant.
  6. Ok. So thought I would add to this as it stopped working again. Turns out it was the pressure switch it's self. It's a bumper off job but simple enough. The sensor was lose wen I got to it but changed it anyway as I had new one. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi all. 2007 a6 c6 3lt allroad. Any advice as I'm all out of options. It's hard to describe the car idles higher than usual and there is a distinct slow pick up and less torque. Turbo don't kick in till 3rpm as wen before it would be 2 and a hell of alot more powerful. Over taking at speed is a real problem. If you had never driven the car you probably wouldnt notice. So i had a p200 fault code. So i changed the throttle body and cleaned the turbo New air filter fuel filter. There is no longer any fault code but the car is still the same. any advice on possible cause would be much appreciated.
  8. Finally got my lazy arce up a gased the air con and all is sorted. I would have thought the blowers would have still worked with out but not on this occasion. So I'd check gas pressure as a pre test before changing parts.
  9. Update. Changed the control unit still nothing got a multi meter in the back of the plug and its getting 13v so next stop gassing the air con.
  10. Wen I took it off to change the fan it looked brand new (bosh) there was barely any soot on the metal. But that was my next point off call. Long shot but would the air-con be a issue ie if it was empty maby.
  11. Hi. Iv checked all fuses. Should mention iv got the diesel which has no relay just manny fuses apparently that is.
  12. Yer. Iv got no fault codes. Will try both options and update after. Thanks Grant.
  13. Hi all Having a nightmare with the air con system. I have nothing lights up can change settings ect but no air coming the the vents at all. The econ light is permanently on. Iv checked the fuses but carnt find/identifie the relay. Iv just swapped the motor it's self for a new one and still nothing. Any tips or pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks Grant.

  15. Hi all A6 (c6) 3lt allroad. Hi has anyone upgraded or no of any possible upgrades to the air intake system. There seems to be a lot of plastic taking up a lot of room. Or is it just best leave it be. Thanks Grant.
