So I’ve been out and popped the bonnet……there is no dipstick other than the one stood looking at the engine. The consensus seems that the gauge reading is accurate.

This was their response to me questioning it. It still doesn’t sit right with me but I’m no expert. I think I’ll do the old fashioned dipstick check in the morning.

So I had the car serviced at an Audi dealership last week and randomly flicked through the car settings a couple of days later and noticed the oil level was about a quarter of the way from maximum. I questioned the dealership who assured me that this is absolutely fine and normal. I'm no expert but surely this isn't right? Your thoughts on this would be appreciated before I take this further.
