  1. Bought my pads from Europarts mate. Quick delivery and they have everything you need. I didn’t do the discs but Zimmermann discs seem to get plenty of recommendations. That’s the ones I would buy anyway.
  2. Thanks my friend. I’ve sent an enquiry away to Power Flow Glenrothes, Fife. They are a an approved workshop and distributor. I like the idea of a custom built system, I’ll see what the costs are but it definitely looks like a high quality product.
  3. Class mate, something i would never had considered until recently. I've seen them on a black R8 and RS6. I prefer bronze to gold, also like a matt finish. Those Aston forged wheels above are absolute class. I would go for 21" wheels, 22" would be awesome though I'm not sure if that size can be fitted to the RS4 and what effect they would have on the feel of the car? Ill need to have a search and see what real life info there is out there on the effects of larger diameter wheels on these cars. I will say though, the 15mm front and 20mm rear wheel spacers have made a massive difference to the stance and appearance of the car, especially with the big front splitter and the side skirts (not shown on the pics) No fouling on the arches so far, very tight on the front though. I think 12mm front and 18mm rear might be the optimum size to go for but so far, so good.
  4. They are stunning to be fair, I’m off to have a look!
  5. Thanks Hammie, I agree in the black wheels. It looks pretty good but I plan to replace them with some mat bronze wheels, maybe the Vossen ones. Similar to the Performance models. I really like the black and bronze/gold combination.
  6. Hi Steven, I’m also looking into this for my B9.5. I would be interested to know if you find a solution and make any mods? Im currently looking and Miltek and Akro. Pricey but not made my mind up yet.
  7. HI Dary, I’ve just changed the from and rear pads on my RS4 B9.5. The videos for the S4 you have found online can be referenced for your model mate. I used the same and can confirm the S4 replacement procedure is exactly the same. I went for the Brembo pads rather than OEM, feel pretty good so far. if you are ordering replacement pads, make sure you get the accessories kit, it contains new clips etc. The old clips on my pads came out in pieces and they will need replaced. I also purchased new pad wear sensors. One sensor for each axle. Im sure you have this in hand but just a reminder you will need an OBD2 to retract the rear handbrake before replacing the rear disc and pads. Edit, sorry, just realised you posted this 8 months ago! Im new to the forum but lesson learned, check the dates before replying. 🙂
  8. Hi Andy, Sorry, I can’t help as such but the suggestion from Magnet to check the battery condition is a good starting point. ‘I recently purchased an OBDeleven scanner. A good bit of kit for some diy fault finding. Also checks the battery condition. Each error code can be linked to related forum topics direct form the app, this is a handy wee function and saves time trying to search for online content. The OBD2 is bi directional so you can run some diagnostic tests as well to help mail the faults. You need to be careful though, the Pro version that I have is a very capable tool but dangerous in the wrong hands. I’m slowly building up my knowledge on coding but as I have said, if you do consider something like this, it’s fine to use to help with fault finding but be careful when connected to the ECU.
  9. Hi folks, joined up a wee while ago and posted pics. Updated pics attached following some mods. Maxton Designs have recently released a full body kit for the RS4 B9.5 facelift. Thought I would share as some members may be thinking about purchasing. Full Maxton body kit, front splitter, side skirts, rear canards, rear diffuser and rear roof spoiler extension. i have recently fitted wheel spacers to improve the stance of the car. 15mm front and 20mm rear. I’ll update and post pictures of that mod later. The pictures attached were taken before I fitted the wheel spacers. The 15mm front are right on the edge, I may change to 12mm if I get any rubbing, nothing so far though. Also recently purchased an OBD2eleven PRO scanner. Just started playing with it. Looks like a very capable bit of kit so far. I have activated the Apple car play wireless Bluetooth connection, also used it to retract the rear parking brake to change the pads. I’m looking to learn a lot more about coding for this car. Im happy with the results so far.

    My RS4 Black Carbon B9.5
  11. Hi, just joined up, here’s a couple of pics. Number plate change and Black OEM badges and rings fitted in 2nd pic. Came from an M5 Comp (brilliant car) to the RS4, enjoying it so far but I need to start getting more BHP from it. Joined up to get a look at other peoples pride and joy. Next job is resonator delete and maybe a Miltek system, wheel spacers (still to come out what size for front and rear? Eventuri intake kit and some tuning. Would also love to fit a Maxton body kit but unfortunately they don’t do anything for the B9.5! The Urban kit is way to expensive, still to look at ABT to see if they do anything. Any advise on this would be much appreciated.
