  1. Hi @Magnet Thank you for your reply. I will reach out to LLL and see if they can help. Many thanks Paddy
  2. Hi Folks, I have an Audi A4 B9 with the rotary control for the NMI and navigation. The knob is a wee bit worn so I thought it would be good to replace it with a shiny new one. Unfortunately, I cannot locate this spare part anywhere. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just the knob and if so where I can buy the part? It could be that I am Googling the wrong thing as I can find plenty of the smaller volume rotary knobs. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Kind regards Paddy UK
  3. Hi @Magnet and @Steve Q Well, the "Audi Sport" badges from eBay arrived this morning - very quick. As stated above, I decided to go all in and ordered the cheapest at £9.95 including P&P! Here is the eBay link I ordered from (I realise this will lapse over time, but FYI): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115942723683 In terms of the badges... they are mint and of very high quality from what I can see. If someone told me these were the Audi factory badges at £50 a pop then I would not be surprised. Seriously, I cannot recommend these enough. Save yourself a lot of money if you are in the market for these badges. Hope this helps Paddy UK
  4. Hi @Steve Q Thank you for your reply. I took a risk and ordered the £9.95 badge off eBay. The seller assures me these are of high quality. I will update the thread when they arrive. Many thanks Paddy UK
  5. Hi Folks, I am looking to buy Audi badges as follows: These badges seem to be available from several sources with the official Audi version (from dealers and OEM parts) costing up to £50 each! I have also seen what seem to be the same badges on eBay for as little as £9.99. Has anyone bought the cheaper, after market badges? If so, what is the real difference apart from price? Is it really worth paying £35+ for the genuine Audi part? Thank you for your help. Kind regards Paddy UK
  6. Hi Folks, Well last Friday I went and test drove the Audi A4 2.0 Sport 35. Although the car is a 2019 model it has done less than 6K miles and it looked brand new. Not only that, it has all the features of my 2012 S Line and more to boot. A4s came a long way over those seven years. The Audi dealer allowed me to go off with the car and I have to say it drove really well. It may only have 150 bhp but I personally could not tell the difference from my 1.8T with 170 bhp. No doubt my car may have lost a few horses over 11 years and possibly the new A4 is lighter etc. So @Stevey Y, you are right - no remap required (thank you). Anyway, to cut a long story short I bought the car. I would have preferred an S Line variant but this was simply too good a car to slip by. So sadly my faithful servant Max (1.8T) will no doubt heading off to a car auction. Good bye old friend and I just hope Max finds a kind owner. Many thanks Paddy UK
  7. Hi Steve, Thank you for your reply. You may indeed be correct as I had a similar concern when I bought the 1.8T. My previous A4 has approx. 220 bhp and I thought the new car would seem sluggish to me. I was pleasantly surprised and found that the new car was more than acceptable. Having said that, it would be good to get a recommendation for a remap specialist. I Googled and there seems to be several out there with Superchips at the top. Does anyone have any experience of Superchips? Good or bad? Thank you for your help. Kind regards Paddy
  8. Hi Folks, I am considering purchasing an Approved Audi A4. The model is a 2.0l Manual Sport and was registered in 2019. My current A4 (which I have had from new in 2012) is a 1.8T S-Line and I have to say I am surprised how well equipped the Sport is. Many things I had to pay extra for are standard on this car. Anyway, my question is about remapping. My 1.8T generates around 170 bhp and is perfectly adequate for me. The new car only generates a 150 bhp which seems quite low by comparison. I assume the 2.0l TFSI can be upgraded via a remap and I was wondering who you would recommend? I am not looking for a beast mode conversion, simply one that brings it hearer to the 170 bhp on my old car. Thank you for your help and I look forward hearing your thoughts. Kind regards Paddy Wiltshire, UK
