  1. Having googled cooling fan fuse location on a6 c7 2.0 tdi it appears there should be two fuses but I have one? Any suggestions?
  2. Hi Does anyone with a a6 c7 2.0 tdi 190 with dual zone climate control and VCDS be able to send me a scan of their Auto HVAC module / engine module coding? Looking to see if my modules have the correct settings/parameters setup on the cooling system/fan control module. still getting heater support pump locked (intermittent) then sometimes throws up engine management light. Don’t see any obvious coolant loss or leaks. Pump runs when tested and looking to see if it could be a setting/parameter fault before looking to change out fan control module.
  3. Cheers have picked up the full unit to replace
  4. And clutch release bearing is sticking it sounds like too now!
  5. @Stevey Y not having much look at minute. Rear wiper packed up earlier….that’s a mess in there
  6. Is that the water pump that is attached to the timing belt your meaning? The switchable one? I’m meaning more the electrical support pumps.there is definitely one under the engine right under the DPF/EGR but not sure if there is another
  7. Can anyone help me out with locations of where the electric water pumps are located on the 2015 Audi a6 2.0 tdi ultra? Obviously there is one of the engine that is attached to timing belt. Theres an electric one right next to the oil sump under the engine. Driver side on a RHD vehicle. There is a pump behind the passenger side bumper/light unit under coolant tank However my mechanic seems to think there is another electric pump somewhere but isn’t telling me where and I can’t find anything online! Any help would be much appreciated….picture would help even more! thanks
  8. Shut off timer showing car was shut off 11561s….3.2 hours….definitely was not!
  9. So interestingly I had this come on this morning when the engine hadn’t even been started….. 0 RPM and 0% formed load value intake air temperature 44C? Car has been sat overnight and not used in 10 hours and was about 8C outside in Scotland. Temperature sensors have both been changed with genuine new Audi ones at intake and after intercooler. coolant 44c?! Maybe but surely would be lower after sitting all that time. Outside temperature 16.5C …. Unlikely at 5.40am i have a feeling something else is throwing up this issue and not the pump itself
  10. 2 x bottle of forte turbo clean and a bottle of forte advanced formula diesel cleaner going in tomorrow, an hours idling and then a good run and see how it goes. Try the cheaper option before I start ripping off the actuator and changing it
  11. Take it these actuators aren’t adjustable they are just straight swap? Adapt turbo on vcds and should be good to go?
  12. Seems quieter but not had long enough to take it a good drive
  13. 😂😂 just did the wynns turbo cleaner yesterday!
  14. So I’m having some problems with my turbo actuator on my 2015 Audi a6 2.0 TDI….read a lot of places these can be adjusted however the one I have and the replacement one part number doesn’t look as though it has any adjustment capability. im advised the actuator should read 3.6V with power on (tolerance 3.3v to 3.9v) engine off and 0.76v with engine on at idle. my readings are currently 3.2v power on, engine off and 0.72v with engine on at idle. the actuator itself has not nut/bolt to allow adjustment. have ran turbo adaptation on VCDS but no change to readings. basically my cars running like rubbish especially 4th, 5th and 6th gear as if it’s struggling. No EML, not fault codes. if I were to replace the actuator I take it that it would just be a straight swap over. image of actuator
