  1. Hi man, thanks for the info. I've removed/swapped both vent sensors to no avail. Might have to do a back flush of the heather core. What was the way you didn't bud, can I just connect the header to a hosepipe and don't that way?
  2. As above, drivers side heating stays cold no matter what setting its on. From what I've read its usually the heater flap motor that is broken, I've had a look and made a little video and I'm sure the part in the vid is working okay. Any other place I should be looking to sort this, I've also read about temp sensors but I've no idea where they are located in this car. Any help would be great.

Picture shows two sensors, left one is a pre DPF pressure regulator and the pipe seen is the one that is used to put cleaning fluids in, unless you really know what you're doing only push cleaning fluid through with the engine running as if you put too much in when engine is off there is a risk of fluid going into the cylinders and causing a hydro-lock. If you really want to put loads of fluid in when engine is off and to let it soak, maybe put fluid in directly though the o2 sensor holes, you'll have to remove glow-plugs to expel any liquid out of cylinders. Right one is post DPF and EGR sensor (as far as I can tell) This is the one that was faulty, I used a cheap knock off from amazon for 20 quid (03L906051B) which is slightly different as the one on the car originally (04L906051B) and that was used on the left hand side, then I replaced the one on the right with the original I had just taken off. No idea if the slight difference means anything, though I am going to fit an OE part tomorrow at a cost of around £100.

Thanks buddy, replaced a sensor (left hand - pre dpf) with a cheap 20 quid knock off (next day amazon) but still threw a code, might be frowned up but I flushed through a 1000ml of partially diluted (RO water) Dawn oven cleaner through the dpf via left hand side pressure regulator pipe with engine running as I didn't want backwash into the cylinders. Used one of those cheap hand pump garden sprays and MacGyver jerry-rigged tubes. Lots of smoke came out the back >< anyway, dpf pressure went down loads (4mbars when it was 16mbars) swapped the sensors round, told the car I had just replaced the dpf and to train the sensors via a Launch CRP129x (bought for this job) Long story short- did a 100mile round trip on the motorway and it didn't throw any codes so I presume it' can regen now. I'm fairly certain the garage swapped the egr cooler when it was the sensor at fault, and it had been driven for quite some time leading to the dpf being blocked, a combo of new (egr side) differential sensor and a really harsh dpf clean sorted the problem out. Thanks for your help bud 🙂
  5. So apparently, this cars pressure sensors are slightly different, but even Audi are saying they don't know exactly which one is which. The have a diagram where two are showing and the exploded view (with a difference in part number is shown) only show's one. Looks like I will have to buy both and play around with them. Anyone come across these different part numbers before, and could a miss-match cause problems?
  6. Just got back from the live data guy, said a dpf pressure sensor was too high and the DPF had a lot of soot. Was going to buy a sensor on the way back but it looks like there are two so I'll have to look into it. Got some pics from it though.

  8. That's the strange thing, it had a new egr cooler last week. Managed to get a dpf specialist to look at it and all the live data tomorrow, hoping it's just a sensor or something.
  9. 115k 2015 1.6 tdi sport bud, it would be a shame to have to take it back as it's in really good condition.
  10. Thanks for the reply bud, I've not got my hands on any decent software for the car yet, the only code I've got is a generic obd p2002. The dealer seems like he is pushing for a return as he's worrying it will be a never ending pit of money I guess. Ive got it booked in tomorrow with a dpf specialist, fingers crossed with the right gear he can see if the sensors are OK?
  11. I'm hoping for some help with the wife's 2015 Audi A3, she bought it this weekend and on the way back it started going into limp mode and showing P2002 codes. Now we were meant to pick it up weekend before last but the dealer had that code come up. Apparently he took it to the garage and they changed the egr cooler, reset the code and though the job was done. The garage also said that the dpf was not blocked and all was ok. I've take it for a drive, after resetting the code and almost immediately P2002 (pending) shows, when driving slow around town the car seems fine except for the pending code. When driven hard, or at high revs low gear down the motorway the car really kicks off and shows a flashing glow-plug light. To me it seems the trouble really starts the more gas you're pushing through the system which would indicate a blockage to me. I guess the question is since its had its egr cooler replaced, what else could it be? One other thing that is puzzling, is that I've seen the invoice for the egr cooler and it came to a little over £400 fitted, which seems a little cheap to me? We can take the car back no problem, but its a 4 hour drive and the logistics would be a nightmare.
