Being honest. It appears pointless to me. 60GB for 1 year. UK only. I tried it to hook my UTR v1 dashcam but didn’t work. I also seem to need it to auto login to MyAudi on the MMI. Which seems overly complicated. It looks like it’s use case is kids iPads in the back seats. If anyone has better use cases then say. Audi Connect & Audi Remote are different chargeable services to the WiFi data plan in the car.

I've got an Audi A6 MH2p MMI. Can you post your version info ? Mine has WiFi plan from cubic telecom and you connect your phone to it using WiFi SSID e.g. Audi_MMI_999 and a password like dfsg-sdfs-hsgs. It's a paid service BTW, about £70 a year for 60GB.

Finally working! Audi Connect transferred me to my local dealer. They reset the settings, which they admitted didn't appear to make any difference. Its booked in for a whole firmware update. I think its 1 version behind. Anyway. Today, it starts to actually download the map update, installs it and its the latest for my region. My suspicion is that updating the whole map and the polling looking for an update is a bit wonky, fingers crossed, now it has actually updated that i won't get the error every week that it polls for another region update. So, what is the solution? Firstly, contact Audi Connect - they do try hard. Let them give you a "TPI" and refer you to the local Audi Dealer. No charge to reset/diagnostics, upgrade. and they give you a free car wash. Unfortunately, other than its now working. Its not transparent as to what really was the solution. So all i can post is my journey/experience/steps for anyone with a similar issue.

Rear wiper connector/hose broken. 4K9955407B

Thanks. Just an update to MARKED SOLUTION. Whilst the black connector was broken and I replaced this. Turns out the rubber tube (which has pin prick holes along it) and jet nozzle at the end of the tube was blocked too. So I've replaced the tube/nozzle & connector. All working now! Which was fun as I obviously ran out of washer fluid during testing, which made me think I was going mad. LOL Hopefully the rear wiper will last another 5 years. £50 for a rear washer arm every 5 years is not the most expensive Audi bill I've had. It sounds like the motor and the tubing are future "opportunities". -

LLLparts.co.uk fairly prominent on Google. I think someone else suggested them too -

Thanks for replying. I bought 4K9 955 405 A. Whole wiper arm for £50 off LLL. I just swapped the little black plastic connector. The Audi Parts diagram is truly awful. I thought I was looking for the "B" part. Shame the Audi Dealer wouldn't give me the part number to help me find actual pictures. -
It's not the SD Card update. Thats gone fine twice. It's the "auto-update" feature from the Audi Connect. It does a "check" every day? or every week? to auto update the maps online. That's where the error message is coming from. I could just turn off auto-updates and use the manual SD card, but i'd quite like auto-updates and seeing as its part of the £165 a year i'm paying for Audi Connect...

After just over 1 week the "update not possible" returned following an "auto-update" check, it appears that the "technical dept" just changed my polling from daily to weekly. LOL. I've update my Case with Audi UK and they're getting the "technical dept" back on it. I've asked what the "technical dept" did last time (I asked before, i didn't get an answer and i don't expect an answer). Surely someone must have at least seen the attached Unknown Error Message during an auto-update. Find it hard to believe this is the only time its occured. Granted it could be many, many reasons why.

How can I edit my title and post ? 4K9 955 405A The above part is for the whole wiper arm with the hose/washer. £50 from LLL parts. I pulled the black plastic connector off and put it on the existing. Shame you can't just buy the connector (or better, the dealer should sort nonsense like this out for "free" - after all it is a £75,000 car as part of customer service) -
We have received an update from our Technical Department regarding your case. An adjustment has been deployed on the system and your issue should now be resolved. You are kindly requested to bring your vehicle online for about 10 minutes in a location with good network coverage (3-5 LTE bars) and then perform a retest. In case the issue still persists, kindly provide us with new screenshots displaying the error with the timestamp visible

I’ve done the following 1/ disabled and reenabled privacy settings 2/ checked news, weather, traffic, remote are working 3/ updated maps via SD Card to P660 4/ factory reset settings - online update only 5/ reenabled auto update Still the same “error unknown” when the MMI goes to automatically update the maps online. I was expecting after a full manual update to P660, which I believe is the latest that auto-update would at least say “no update required”. Factory Resetting the online auto update seemed to only turn it off. Very strange. I’ll try the Audi Connect Email/Phone one more time and my “solution” will be just turn off auto updates and do a manual SD card update once a year. Which isn’t an actual solution so I’ll leave it open.

I’ve updated using 64GB SD card to P660. This appears to have gone ok. Takes about 45 minutes but I could use the car and stop/start, lock, make journeys while it did its thing. I’ve received a checklist of things regarding the auto update error from Audi Connect which I need to look at. They seem to want to do a full reset, including the key user. and of course look to see if auto-update is working now - which I suspect I won’t now know for another 6 months when the next update is out?

Ok. So I updated the Europe maps using the official MyAudi link onto a SD Card (2019 model). 2023.1_P0630 looks to be the latest on the website Now I get "Update not possible. An unknown error has occured. The operation has been cancelled". I'm assuming this is the auto update function getting upset, which as I understand only updates the region you travel around. "England Central, Wales" Anyone else see same error message after a manual Map Update? Any thoughts on a fix or diagnostics? I could just turn off "auto update maps" or phone the Audi Helpline 0800 279 2884 - they were very, very helpful establishing me as Key User.

Mine is p2711 also. Interested to know if anyone has done this. I'm inclined not too. "if it aint broke..."

This did cross my mind, but i'd need to find/replace the inner black plastic ring from the above photos and given how much pressure the water must put on it, and the vibration. Plus the opportunity for araldite to go everywhere and make more of a mess. I think replacing the elbow connector with the nozzle variety and the cap with 2 holes is what I'll try first. £15. 4K9955205 4K9955985 -

I've ordered from LLL parts 4K9955985 Nozzle with 2 jets 4K9955205 Cap (with 2 small holes) After I've fitted I'll post a photo and "mark as solution". hopefully this might help someone else frustrated that Audi After Production don't supply parts for their rear wipers other than a generic. I'll also let my local Audi Dealer know the part numbers above as they are very insistent that I need to buy a whole arm for £100 instead of the 2 parts for £15 -
Rear wiper connector/hose broken. 4K9955407B

If anyone with an Audi 2019+ wouldn’t mind taking a look at their rear wiper to see if it has a hose running its length 10cm with a nozzle at the end ? Either mines a one-off or they ditched the idea after manufacture. the “standard” Audi rear wiper just squirts screenwash up through 2 holes in the cap. Which is what I’ll buy for £8 off eBay at this rate. LOL. Welcome back to Audi ownership where life is neither cheap nor easy. PS the local dealer want £120 for a whole new wiper arm. -
Rear wiper connector/hose broken. 4K9955407B
Daniel Ralph replied to Daniel Ralph's topic in Audi A6 (C8) Forum
It’s the black round connector. It pushes onto the wiper outlet and the hose. looks straight forward to replace. Currently screen wash just dribbles straight out the bottom when it’s actioned. i’ll try the dealer. Wish me luck. They wanted £90 just to talk to me about enabling myself as key user… it took 5 minutes over the phone with Audi UK and they remote video checked my passport & V5 over the phone - very neat and “free” obviously -
Anyone know the parts diagrams for the rear wiper ? 4K9955407B Its got a hose running the length of the rear wiper and the plastic connector under the cap has broken a bit and needless to say, wiper fluid just dribbles down the back logo. The rear wiper cap is solid, so its not the type that has the nozzle under the cap. As I mentioned its connected a 10cm hose that has the jet/nozzole at the end. about half way along the rear wiper blade.

Owned an A6 AVANT since 2014. Just refreshed to 2019 model. Already looking forward to the bills after a 9 month gap.
